"looking-for-group" channel

Hey all,

I have been recently doing some homefront missions and also starting to play a bit of factional warfare in hisec. It’s kinda small group/fleet content and is fun, but there is one thing, that is quite annoying. Finding a fleet or finding enough players to form a fleet. Sometimes friends or alliance mates are doing their own thing and you have to team up with other random eve players.

So I and also many others started using this channel “looking-for-group”.
I suppose the channel is full of other players who also do homefront, fw, missions together, form roaming fleets, etc etc. But is there some kind of official “fleet up!” channel where you can join and talk with others?

Join #Why Was I Ganked?

Then report back who is there please!

We have been doing some homefront missions and making 60-105m/h in hisec with 0% risk aint that bad. The only problem the most players had before was the difficulty finding the other 4 to form the needed fleet of 5.

Exactly my point and reason for suggesting to try that channel mentioned!

…is so the Frostpacker can stalk on Aiko as he was banned from that channel by her.

What are you talking about?

Yeah-nah frosty can’t be bothered to express his feelings for Princess until he regains access to Why Was I Ganked? (just in case you decide to edit that post :smirk: )

hahaha wth is happening?

anyways, join channel “looking-for-group

I can not speak for others but my LFG -/LFM-time to join/form a fleet halved!

Uriel and Frostpacker are conducting some sort of weird stalker-romance through the forums lately. Not sure which of them is more obsessed. You can just ignore it or flag the posts as off-topic/inappropriate if they derail the thread too much.

Good luck on your LFG channel. They haven’t attracted many people in the past because 90% of the time when you LFG, the answers are all “Yeah sorry it would take me 29 jumps to reach you, too slow”.

hmm this is all hisec related stuff
In many cases e.g. factional warfare or homefront, you can just have an Alpha sitting in Jita or somewhere else and relog to that account when you want to do something

You can join the action within 2-3 minutes.

I wonder whether a “looking-for-group” mailing list would make sense. You could plan/announce an activity/event ahead.
