Tnx.
Really.
Tnx.
Really.
Its not. A properly fitted TC3 would have laughed at that.
I can literally orbit a single object of this mission and finish it with no issues. In my case, getting rid of all the webbers is key, as my tengu relies on speed ( yes, its an afterburner ) to minimize any incoming damage.
This mission is really easy…so it really blows my mind that somebody even lost a ship in it…a TC3 of all ships.
I believe you, but do you believe at those stats??
I don’t.
Two t2 armor hardeners and I wouldn’t be here discussing.
I wanted all the DPS I could get, and 10K armor.
Don’t twist the blade, plz.
Have you noticed the discussion about Boosters?
How they are new to the Eve world and have done a massive job at
un-balancing quite a lot of situations???
And that they leave no traces also???
Being a volunteer means trying to share helpful informations for the community,
even if they could be used against you…
Pilots are awesome. So many complains about too hard L2 missions… too hard L4 missions… to hard to click buttons… etc…
As the killmail doesn’t show up on zkillboard I had to go by pictures.
I think you’ve been flying something like this right?
How about you swap that fourth and heavily diminished ballistic control system for something more useful like a missile guidance enhancer for better application of that high paper dps? Or use it for extra armor resists like a multispectrum energized membrane.
Also try swapping that 50MN MWD for a 10MN AB. Saves you on capacitor, fitting space and reduces damage taken. Keep the AB on at all times and fly perpendicular to the heaviest incoming damage if possible to negate a lot of it.
Next, take out the 1600 plate and go all in on repairs and resistances instead. One (faction) multispectrum energized membrane already boosts your repairs a lot and also gives you more buffer. A second, if you’re willing to give up the 4th and diminished ballistic control makes it even easier to live.
Then when you don’t need the rigs for fitting space and capacitor anymore you can add more nano pumps for even more repairs.
Example:
Mind, I haven’t done this site and don’t know any particulars of it. I also don’t know which enemies you fight, you could cheese tank their specific damage type for even more effectiveness.
Micro Jump Drive and a 500 MWD for reaching 172km away from them and striking with Cruise Missiles.
That is what build would look at.
/even a cheap fit with similar setup can allow your pilot to deliver some damage at 160km
kill first battleship, kill second battleship, warp out.
yeah thats tricky.
Sure, they are absolutely correct. Thats why I said: “This mission has a few hundred DPS at most”.
Who would have thought that…
Thats why you died. You simply don’t understand how to fit a ship for the content you want to do with it.
I mean, people are really trying to help you, I am not sure you are able to follow tho… no offense.
What do boosters have anything to do with this…you dont need boosters to do a very simple L4 mission.
Huh? Now youre blaming boosters on your death in a very simple L4 mission?
You havent shared anything helpful. The only thing youve taught anyone here is what not to do in this game.
Its a simple mercenary mission. Thermal and kenetic are favored ( i use nothing but kenetic in all missions because i have a bonus for it ) The only thing i may switch up in is between fury and precision missiles depending on who im targeting. Its really not rocket science. You can literally blitz this mission in just a few minutes. shrug
Holy cow man, that’s a totally dead simple mission. I almost feel bad for running it in my MJD-fit marauder because it’s kind of overkill. Tons of raw DPS isn’t always the answer, you know. Also, try resources like Eve Survival to know what strategy to use to kill efficiently and not lose expensive ships.
Oh, and listen to others who really are trying to help. After reading several of your posts I doubt you will but, hey, folks tried. ![]()
Easy in my raven
60% resists aren’t going to cut it. Post your fit and we’ll all chime in to tell you what’s wrong with it… (honest critique)
Whenever I run any kind of medium booster my resists are all in the low 90’s.
Have you considered joining EVE uni or some other similar group of people who teach how the game is played? You should go back to the basics and learn the game and use cheap equipment so that you are not having more expensive loses.
If you operate in Caldari space, drop me a line.
Ask CCP to stop nerfing missions.
But um, were you actually killed in warp? Maybe you just had a desynch.
So at second 6, you get a lethal volley on the server. At second 8 you would have warped. But you are lagging and your cleint didn’t realiz you were dead. So you see the warp graphic. Then the server reminds your client your ship got blown up. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but it sounds more likely to me than you dying mid warp.
And…resists are everything. Its the difference between succeeding and failing…dps doesnt matter one bit if enemies are beating through your ship at an insane rate.
My tengu’s resist:
This is gonna be it, guys. This is gonna be the time the OP reads all of the helpful advice in the replies, incorporates it into his gameplay, and solves his problem.
I believe in Us.
it is dead easy… you need to mission else where, for me its mercs and angels.
Missioning somewhere else isn’t going to change the rats in this mission. It’s just a merc cruiser with an Orthrus skin. The same cruiser that’s always been there and has been unchanged since the mission was put in like 2 decades ago.
dude i wipe the floor with them in a paladin…
why not warp in at range and sniper the only two ships you need to
