Make subcategory mute apply to "New"

So muting subcategories will hide posts in “Latest” which is very handy. Why not make the mute apply to “New” as well? If I don’t want to see say Russian posts or market posts in Latest, I probably don’t want to see them in New either.

I see my “New” feed is slowly being flooded with Sales and Buy ads and recruitment ads.

I’m also finding this to be annoying. I don’t care if there’s new posts in the German section. I can’t read them anyways.
