If I want to buy an account with only the Conqueror driving skill, how much would be appropriate to spend?
You canât buy accounts in EVE. Only characters.
And what is a ââConqueror drivingââ skill?
The Conqueror Class was constructed by the Snow Ravens when the Ghost Bears approached them for aid in the construction of their Leviathan Class Battleships in 3042. Conceived as carrier escort to the giant Leviathans, the Ravens used hulls of the Star League-era Kimagure class Pursuit Cruiser design, six of which had joined Operation EXODUS.
Just the character, slip of the tongue
G and C tt
Is that supposed to mean something?
Vanqisher
So you want a price check for a character who can sit in a Vanquisher? Why didnât you ask that in the first place, instead of speaking in terms not familiar to an EVE Online player?
i use the AIďźsorry
gosh ![]()
First, I recommend the Price Checks forum instead of New Citizens Q&A.
Second, it might be hard to find a character that has minimal skills and can fly a Titan. Most people expect that a prospective buyer will actually want to use the titan instead of sitting it in a station. Consider skill injectors.
Third, if you have to ask these kinds of questions in the incorrect forum, and you actually plan on undocking a titan, donât. I see in your future a killmail.
You had to use AI to type one sentence?
In a foreign tongue in specialized forums, it looks tempting to use AI.
âonlyâ the Vaquisher flying skill?!? I had too look up what ship you are referring to.
Either you have much RL money spare or you donât know what you are talking about.
If you have to ask that, i wonder where you will get the ship from and i also wonder what does âdrivingâ mean?
You could have looked that easily upâŚit takes not even half a year to train this yourself. So you could check for the skill price and the account training time and come to an approximate cost.
You are of course welcome to ask the questions, but having these questions in the first place, indicates that you donât know much about the game, since there would be many other questions to ask which you didnât. But then this Q&A would go on for a few months or something.
If you plan to âwhaleâ into EVE online then you could as well burn your money right away. Player skill is what is needed here, not wallet power.
A titan requires infrastructure from an alliance as you canât even dock it on public stations.
But i can be wrong for all your intentions of course. You donât tell very much and one can only suppose. The answer to your question could be vastly different if one knew what you actually want to do.
Depending on what you want to do with it, it can cost anywhere from several billion to several hundreds of billions of ISK.
- A âsitterâ is a character that only has minimum skills to sit in the ship, but not to use all of the modules. Sitters are used to safeguard the ship, since it canât dock anywhere except in Keepstar type stations. If the station goes down while youâre away from the game, the ships goes to asset safety and youâll need several hundreds of billions of ISK to get it out of asset safety. Thatâs why sitters are used to log off in a titan, usually within a POS bubble. Sitters can be found in range of tens of billions of ISK.
- A âbridgerâ is a character that can use the titan for bridging other players, but doesnât have skills to fly the ship effectively (no guns, no doomsday weapon, tanking skills are not the best). Bridgers are a little bit more expensive that sitters, since they require more skills to run the bridge.
- A full combat-ready titan piloting characters must have a lot of skills trained and are the most expensive. Youâre looking at hundreds of billions of ISK.
Also note the following:
- The ship itself, its fit and implants can easily go over a trillion of ISK.
- You are only allowed to buy characters and items in the game with in-game currency - ISK. Buying characters, ships, ISK or anything else in the game for real life money will get you banned from the game.
I see a Vanquisher kill mail in the near future.
The intent of buying a character and a rare titan ship with real money without the knowledge of ship names or the process of buying such a character suggests there most likely also is no knowledge of flying such a large expensive and attractive target safely.
You will spend money on a Vanquisher and then lose it the first time you fly it.
Why not start small and learn to play the game first?
Just had a closer look, the recommended skills are challenging:
- Gallente Titan and Minmatar Titan to V.
- Doomsday Operation and Doomsday Rapid Firing to V.
- Capital Hybrid Turret to V.
- Capital Blaster Specialization and Capital Railgun Specialization to V.
- Every Gunnery support skill to V.
This takes years to skill.
I didnât do the full math, but it could be possible that for just 6000-8000USD you can get the whole package with skills, skillpoints and the ship with the current special PLEX offer of 3 or 4 times the 80000 PLEX package. Or you could contact CCP to negotiate a bigger discount as stated on the page:
But you would of course still be missing the infrastructure and a sufficient support with just one account.
And you would need to find a seller for the ship and find a trustworthy way to actually buy it. I donât know how this goes today as i think there are no more trustees available for the handover like in the old days, so i could be wrong of course. So you need to make sure you are not scammed or lured into a trap. I guess you get access to a Keepstar somewhere and if you get there alive, you will not know what happens after the deal as you do need to undock sooner or later and they can revoke docking rights and have a welcome fleet ready if you undock. All that is a different story, but maybe someone wants to share insights as i suspect this thread is already at the end with the original question.
A buyer can ask to get it moved to some public LS Keepstar. Depending on the seller and the location, it might be doable (often is).
The other option is to buy the BPC and materials, join a nullbloc, and open up conversation about manufacturing it with leadership. Then move it yourself once itâs out of the oven.
In any case, itâs a lot more complicated than just having the ISK for buying a character and hull.
