Being the best does not just mean you hunt. Yes it is important in a merc on merc war but i would value the following in my evaluation of VMG being top of the pile:
Group stability . Vmg has shown like marmite and pirat that it has a business model that can stand the test of time. You my friend are a one trick pony that everyone can ride.
Income. There are not many alliances that can sustain 8 bil a week in wars and not take a dime from its members. In fact we pay our guys and help them plex. We srp losses and have a profitable business model.
We take on bigger challenges with friends and blues. The nature of citadels changed high sec merc wars. You live in the good old days of baw 2.0 which lasted how longâŚits not sustainable.
So congratulatioms for getting a few kills on an alpha toon. Lol.

Just been reading this mess and Iâm curious about your probing speed comment. Is there a specific situation you are referring to where you wouldnât have the time to probe on a neutral alt? Maybe youâre referring to seeing them on Dscan if it takes too long? Even then I donât see that mattering since combats are preferred over regular probes if youâre using an extended launcher. My point is that combats are a common thing to see in highsec even if they arenât launched with the intent of finding a target.
