Monthly Economic Report - June 2023

Call it whatever you like, doubling the available Ore and then adding some waste simply is a buff. It absolutely does not matter if there was a long time ago in a galaxy far away™ a situation of OP rorquals that mined even more.

when you say doubling the available ore. That’s where I have a problem at.

because the anoms of today compared to the timeframe I was speaking of in my previous conversations. They are Not Doubled.

How I know this was from experience. I did not have a Rorqual back in those days, but a lot of my buddies did. I would come out and mine the mercoxic or mine Ice with them.

But thats not how judgement on a change works. You have to compare the status immediately before the change vs. the status immediately after the change. This way you can tell if the change is a buff or a nerf. Comparing it to some ancient past when the grass was greener™ is not really constructive.

I think I see now.

So before the ■■■■ show started lets say the average anom had X number of rock in them.

then scarcity hits and it reduces said anoms by 80%

then here comes the waste mechanic and ccp doubles the rocks

so what I see is X-80% then the rocks are doubled( 20% x 2 = 40%)

so now we have 40% rocks but with the waste mechanic

The numbers have been simplified but I believe you understand the principal behind it.
