Moving BS hulls though Ganker hotspots

People are best off removing a painter, a tracking computer or something like that in their mids and putting this on when moving around in a BS hull and when you decloak with a gank fleet incoming make sure tank is on and hit the button after they have you locked. Simple to do and highly effective against massed cheap ganking ships.

Use it or lose it!

Ignore the misinformation and sleights. This works really well.

Here is what they do, they position a tackle ship on gate, a Maller for example which they use to point, they have combat scans on the gate and get a hit and warp the gank fleet onto you, the probes take two seconds to run and then they come in from their perch. There are 20 to 40 of them, the more they have the worse it will be for them.

Ah is that what triggered this post? :joy:

I can just imagine him now, watching hapless as always from the sidelines while you dunk BS after BS, foaming from rage that he can’t come back at you and be the white knight hero he sees himself at.

So after some sleepless night where he could not think of something other than @Australian_Excellence, he came up with this cunning plan. If only everyone would fit that module, some would survive and then maybe he would get the emotional response in local he is so desperately looking for.

It’s like he is the griefer looking for tears he always accuses gankers of, but in typical ag fashion too incompetent to get it with his own actions. :joy: :joy: :joy:

People are best moving every expensive module in a dedicated hauler (alongside the boosters, the ammos, etc) and use a dedicated travel fit. I’ve move my ships several times through uedama and niarja without an issue - however I am never in AP.
The issue with that module, is its cap usage : if you are scanned with it, gankers will start by capping you dry before using the cats. So you need two cap batteries, alongside the MWD and the cloak. but if you are travel fit, with plates, full tank, there is actually nothing to fear. A vindi can go 170k ehp with 9s align, 180k if you add extenders, 2 cap batteries, a target spectrum. for less than 300M lootable stuff.

Just have two cans, one for travel fit, the other for ā€œcombat fitā€ (actually as many cans as you have fits - and one for drugs and ammos), ask the alt to move the cans. Or make a hauling contract, they are dirt sheep.

And yet you are the one who brings his name. The irony of your stupidity …

LMAO, I think I might as well explain to you what went on here, the amusing thing about this event was that I was actually hunting some plonker using this, so I was being as general as I could in answering a question about someone who found themselves blown up in their safe spot when cloaked. And no it was not the guy who I blew up doing this. So I was using very general language for what I thought was obvious reasons. You obviously wanted to make a big thing about it then and you continue to want to make a big thing over it and yet in doing so you make yourself look dumb.

It got even more amusing when I received a number of mail messages asking me not to go into too much detail. They knew what I was doing and they knew why I was being so general. However in the end I did detail it a bit more than I wanted to and the plonker I was chasing moved to a safe that I could not triangulate.

That you could not understand this was most amusing to me, and continues to amuse me, and that you brought it up here after your fail mis-information is even more awesome sauce.

You can imagine it, does not make it true however.

The only ship losses that bother me are the ones where I don’t make a good fight of it and feck it up too much. If you think anything more than you really ought to ask Sol to diagnose you, though he will likely get it very wrong.

This idea works on mass fleet attacks and will make his life a lot harder and less certain, if he is super duper elite as he claims he will deal with it, take it in his stride and all that.

Another thing I just found out while testing this module further is that you do not get a combat timer at all in using this module. It is truly awesome sauce and perfect for having fun at the gankers expense.

He’ll make the next thread how it’s not ā€˜balanced’ we can warp 30mil worth of cats on a battleship and kill it.

Probes, unbalanced
Battleships, need 3x more tank
Smartbombing pop, illegal
Cloak trick, too hard to use
Mjd, too hard to use

By this time next week he’ll be asking them to be more powerful than a titan to make them ā€˜balanced’

You seem a bit butthurt at this suggestion.

My dear boy this wonderful Target Spectrum Breaker module makes it totally balanced, because a player has options. If you cannot work that out then there is no hope for you to ever get anything.

Yeah, I’m the one butthurt lmao

You literally made a thread about me after sitting there all weekend constantly watching my killboard

Yes. You are so butthurt that you need to move the topic away.
So yeah, you are butthurt. Even though you can’t admit it.

Yes you are, totally butthurt.

I made a thread suggesting that people fit this module if they do not do the MWD/cloak travel fit for their BS and you have declared that it is all about you. You went off on weird and wonderful fantasies about what I see as balance, you are so butthurt it is possible that you will never have a shite again, which is terrible for you as you are absolutely full of it. So butthurt…

No need, you already modified it years ago. I wouldn’t get too butthurt about it Drac. It was just an example of why what you write often has very little meaning at face value. Your reply here just confirms that even more.

Actually they do. Marmites blew up two of my alts in noob frigates in Uedama (were not yet called Corvettes) while they were in Estel Aradors back in the day .

You made so much of that, the simple fact was that I said that it was possible to be found when cloaked in a safe. Of course it is dependent on certain things. I was trying to warn him that it was possible but not go into too many details. You can spin that however you want, people in the know who have done this know what I was saying. And if they go through that thread they will see me explaining it albeit reluctantly.

Back to the subject matter this Target Spectrum Breaker module is very very effective when used to counter mass ganker fleets in small cheap ships like that being used in Uedama. There is a balance there if you look for it. Many people get upset at multi-boxers doing this type of gank, but because you can use such a module to mitigate his advantage from being able to run cascading clients effectively by clicking manically then it is fine. Well at least for Battleships.

I am sure we are going to see how effective it really is…

What I really like is because it is a defensive module there is no combat timer. The fun part is that AG could even lock up the ship being ganked to make it work better. This is gloriously funny…

EDIT: What is really funny is that an idea of how to defeat excessive multi-boxing gankers is trolled by gankers and then locked because of their trolling, typical and highly amusing, you may not win in game but you lot certainly are winning the forums.

At least Loyalanon got his knickers in a twist over this simple module.
