Need help deciding the future

Hi, need help deciding what ship to go for.
I currently dualbox 2 Gnosis with max drones and missiles, doing low sec anomalies and C1 and c2 wh combat sites.
Should I keep using Gnosis till I can afford Praxis or change to tactical destroyers or satregic cruisers or guristas?
What would open more possibilities without costing a fortune?

To open more possibilities, the proverbial swiss army knife of EvE is the strategic cruiser. It can run c3 wh sites, along with lvl4 missions (if you’re patient) including lvl4 epic arcs, and I mean solo. Of course you can fit it for boosting, logi, exploration/hacking, pvp, covops cloaked or uncloaked. A lot of players are enamored with t3 cruisers (I’m one of them), and love experimenting with the combination of subsystems. Some allow for fits that match your preferred style of piloting, be it kiting, brawling or sig tanking. They’re also the most expensive option in your short list, both in terms of ISK and SP if you want to dig into their possibilities… To get into the hull itself is not very demanding on SP. Learning to fly any (or all) of the t3 cruisers is a significant step to take. I did it early on, never regretted it, even after I stupidly lost my first one.
Do they cost a fortune ? They don’t have to, as long as you match the fit with what the circumstances require. You can usually stay well under 1B, even with some ded-space modules, in total.

Tactical destroyers are much more limited, although some of those should do okay in c2 wormholes but are of course more limited in scope. They are probably the cheapest on your list, fitted. They are fun to fly in pve (except the Hecate perhaps) if you make full use of their 3 modes.

Praxis is the logical step, coming from the Gnosis. You will however have to skill into the large weapons (something you won’t need to do for e.g., t3 cruisers). Can be a bit pricey to fit, but allows for a lot of freedom in the fits. Tanks like a boss.

Guristas: no experience, hence no opinion

Since you seem to like wh space, I’d suggest you take a look on Ashy’s website, for individual ships, and her How2Krab section in particular. It is possible that some of the fits no longer work exactly as she wrote them, but the majority of them should be okay. Same for the scope of the use of individual ships.

You could spread the risk, and put one account to work towards a t3c, and the other to work towards a Praxis. You could even keep the t3c cloaked in wh space, to surprise any funny visitors who take an unhealthy interest in your Praxis that is running sites…
It is what you make of it. GLHF.

Since you’re already maxed out on skills for drones and missiles.

Two Gila’s might work. Faster align times than a battleship,

Or you might go with two Ishtars and have four Gecko drones + four small drones to hit the target with.

With the Ishtars you’ll lose the missiles but you will have enough high slots for drone control range modules plus railguns for close-in defenses to help support the drones if the NPCs make it past their destructive power.

Hmm, you can’t yet? So any proposed ship is “costing a fortune”, I’m afraid.
Scanning frigs in the mentioned WHs do a great job and are quite cheap.

I can’t afford 10 and my rule is if I can’t afford losing 10 I won’t fly it.to all others thanks for the tips.
I do have one of the characters already with caldari subsystems all at V , is the tengu able to be a drone missiles boat?
The gila was my first thought to.

I just want to mention that a Tengu is more expensive than a Praxis, so is a Gila. Additionally you need expensive Subsystems. But these are the reason why a Tengu also can be a droneboat, the variety is vast, but you need some fitting experience.

As you ask in the Newbro section, I treat you like a Newbro, you know.

These are the best for a New Capsuleer to achieve their goals until your core skills are trained into t3 cruisers

The Navy Vexor is a nice choice, long-range drones Ă— Geckos that are very fast and durable will keep you out of the range of most ship guns.

A new Capsuleer could lose a gecko much quicker than losing a cruiser.

It’s no big deal, you can easily replace them for cheap as they sell them for 1 million ISK in Jita local.

Even though multiboxing gives you a little confidence when out in space, I highly recommend you don’t solely rely on it.

Eventually, you will get bigger and better ships and have more intense encounters where mutiboxing can become a liability.

Theres also the fact that you lose any bragging rights forever, as any kills or actions you take will not be piloting one ship, and therefore not really something to show off.

I dont know why its allowed honestly. But i love hunting multiboxers and taking their extra ships out 1 by 1.

Dont be surpised if you warp and when you get out of warp you might be missing ships as they were destroyed in transit or after you arrive before you realize it

Then the newbro needs to learn how to tag the Gecko drone and recall it before it gets destroyed.

How is your day treating you Dryson?

Better than those ganker drones are treating you we hope!

Other than people using innuedo to indentify as Safety when they are not, Im fine. And I don’t feel bad for the fakers. Life will deal with them.
