You need to be As Specific as possible.
The first step in programming is to define the problem. If you can’t, or won’t, you’re unlikely to attract anyone who wants to help you.
One of the tenets of customer service is, the more clueless they are, the more painful it is to try to help them. You don’t want to look like a lost cause.
You need to define your problem in detail, so prospective helpers have a general idea of whether or not they can help you, and how difficult it will be.
