NEW EDEN OBSERVER IS RECRUITING!
“History is written by the victors. We document the wreckage.”
Are you tired of just being another nameless pilot undocking into the void? Do you find yourself watching the cinematic chaos of massive fleet battles, epic corporate scams, or quiet asteroid belt dramas and thinking: “The rest of New Eden needs to see this”?
The New Eden Observer is opening its doors to all capsuleers. However, when you join you MUST join with a newly created alt using the name format exactly as follows:
JOURNALIST-### (replace the # signs with your unique 3 digit code)
That’s JOURNALIST (all in CAPS) followed by a - dash, then three numbers. No spaces! All applicants who do not conform to that format will be rejected.
What We Do
We are an independent, player-run journalistic corporation dedicated to capturing and broadcasting the daily pulse of EVE Online. From massive null-sec wars and low-sec pirate skirmishes to high-sec trade hub shenanigans and quiet exploration milestones, our job is to put our cameras where the action is.
Your Mission as an Observer:
- Capture the Action: Venture into the cluster to take breathtaking screen captures or record video footage of player activities, major events, and daily life.
- Be the Frontline Reporter: Embed yourself in fleets, witness history unfold, and bring back the raw visual proof of New Eden’s wars and triumphs.
- Cover the Sandbox: Pitch and document stories on everything from massive sovereign conflicts to niche player subcultures.
Why Join Us?
- 100% Free to Join: No mandatory buy-ins, no rigid skill-point requirements, and no hidden fees. All capsuleers are welcome!
- Total Playstyle Freedom: Cover the game your way. Tag along with major alliance fleets, hunt down independent stories, or focus entirely on cinematic art and videography.
- A Unique Perspective: Experience EVE Online through an entirely different lens—where your camera is your weapon, and information is your currency.
- Supportive Environment: Learn the ropes of content creation, video editing, and game photography alongside fellow space journalists.
