Neocom Desk — alerts, industry, mining, markets, courier, skills on mobile and desktop

Neocom Desk — a free, open-source browser companion for EVE. Installable (PWA),
works offline, and puts every character you fly side by side.

Live: https://neocomdesk.com

Covers: skill plans with a remap- and implant-aware optimizer, industry build
plans (manufacturing) priced at live hub rates, market browser and an
open-orders worklist, PI colonies and chain planner, moon mining tax ledger,
corp ops board, wallet, assets, mail, contracts, alerts.

Allows logging a production of an item through to a sale so you know how much actual profits/losses you made.

Feedback and bug reports very welcome — here or on GitHub - shawndibble/neocom-desk · GitHub or through discord: Neocom Desk

Will try it out, thanks for sharing.
There hasn’t been a (browser) tool that really works with 50+ chars and not loosing performance drastically.

The entire app run on your machine. So I would expect it to be limited to your device’s specs. A desktop shouldn’t have any issues. Not sure about your mobile device, but would love to find out. I am interested in getting some feedback with managing so many characters in the app.

I’ll be testing it out this week.
Already 1 question though, is it possible to add corporation information ?
Like corp wallet, corp industry runs, corp assets.
Since I have my corporation, and all characters share the assets/wallet which is owned by the corp.

So as it is now, the Neocom Desk is only useful for checking skillqueue and implants of my characters.

thanks for making this o7

Yes, it does track corporation information IF your character has permissions for that. Otherwise it will hide the corporation navigation link.

Director, Accountant, Station Manager, Factory manager all have different things they would be able to see. If you login as a CEO of the corp, you should see the corporation tab. Note that swapping characters would change the corporation visibility based on the role assigned to the character.

Marking a character as your currently active character requires going to the characters page and clicking on the character’s card that you want to have the system show you as. The navigation will then update to show what character you currently are.

I’ve tried it out and I must really say that Neocom Desk is tool that is worth trying out if you have 2 or more accounts!
Even for just 1 account, it keeps a great overview of the important things as well other cool built-in tools, like the market browser or the industry planner.
The most useful for me is the alerts, you can fine-tune each alert for each character however you want!

thanks @Mero_Otichoda

A ton has happened in the last few days.

  • Manufacturing build groups (including bulk import such as from a ship fit).
  • Blueprints: Public contract search. Including cost in manufacturing build. Locating where your blueprints are and at what station.
  • Build opportunities. See what item would bring in the most isk from the blueprints you already own.
  • Contracts - Search all public contracts. Including Courier contracts.
  • Bulk Appraisal.
  • Overview and alerts page that helps you triage what you need to do and what is coming up. Jobs finishing, training completing, PI needing restarted, market items that are being undercut and more.
  • Encrypted backups of your data. Take your data with you. Load it on another device with your characters and settings you have already set.
  • Mining Yield overview page - see how much you have done.
  • Alt overview - character page lets you view all of your alts at a glance and set which columns are important for you to view.
  • Context menus added to just about ever part of the application to help you search items on the market, view transactions, plan items out and so much more.
  • Bunch facelifts on so many pages.
  • PI Advisor - providing suggestions on how best to setup your planets
  • Courier tools - help couriers know which contracts may be worth their time to pick up and which maybe dangerous to attempt.

Currently working on getting this app setup on the google play store. If you are an android user and would like to help me test out this app, please send me your google email address. Google requires 12 testers to get this published on their store.

Changes since the last posted update:

  • Skill Plans: a Calendar view, milestones, multiple boosters, one-click Optimize (reorder plus remaps), a warning before your queue runs dry, and Alpha clone speed.
  • Ships: Fit Check and Mastery merged into one page, with skill requirement lookups.
  • Market Browser: all-regions search, jump-range filters, a security column, and order book filters.
  • Market alerts: a notification when your order is undercut or outbid, and price alerts from any item.
  • Open Orders: a cost basis from your wallet buys, valid EVE prices with one-tap copy, and a compact phone layout.
  • Appraisal: paste an EFT fit, see totals after fees, and price LP store items.
  • Price History: a daily high/low band and order count.
  • Mining Overview: 90 days of history, date ranges, a buyback rate, a refining toggle and pickable columns. Gas harvesting is now counted.
  • Industry: a Blueprint Acquisition compare, markers for blueprints you lack the skills for, science skills and implants in build time, and a default facility per activity.
  • Contacts: compare contacts across characters, and see standings on Contracts and Mail.
  • Mail and Calendar: reply and forward in Mail, and accept, decline or tentative on Calendar events.
  • Contract notifications: alerts when a contract completes or fails.
  • More accurate fees: broker fees use your standings, and relist and sales tax calculations are fixed.
  • Links and menus: every page and filter now has its own shareable URL, and more item names have right-click menus.
  • Mobile: you can pick your bottom tabs, and many pages got phone layouts and bigger tap targets.

Help me test the mobile app: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.neocomdesk.app
Send me your google email address and I can add you to the closed testing group.

Updates:

  • Ship Tree: a new tab that mirrors the in-game ship tree, with faction panels. A Ship Info window shows the skills you’re missing for each hull. The Fittings section is now called Ships, with Fittings and Tree tabs. Mastery is folded into Fittings.
  • Fittings: drag and drop to load charges, item menus, pyfa-closer stats, a pinned Ring column, a simpler Compare toolbar, and a decluttered header.
  • Hauling Opportunities: a new Market tab.
  • Contract search: it now filters out auctions and PLEX-barter contracts. The 50-row cap is gone from Items, Courier and BPC Sourcing, and BPC Sourcing ranks cheapest per run.
  • Couriers: warnings when collateral is far above the reward and before a delivery deadline. Overview’s Next deadline now includes contracts on a clock.
  • Mining Tax: each entry is priced at its mined date rather than today’s price. Ore with no buy bid falls back to today’s sell price, and the page keeps split entries apart from ones that need review.
  • Margins: a realized Margin column on Transactions, plus margin on units sold and unsold cost per item in Records.
  • Industry: log production from a completed job’s row menu, sort the Build Plans columns, start a plan from Owned Opportunities, and see a warning when runs exceed an owned BPC’s coverage.
  • Contacts: in-game contact labels in a Labels column.
  • Community: a Discord link and a Help & Support tab in Settings.

Still need 9 more android testers. If you are interested, let me know.

  • Your Tax tab shows your own book, and you can claim Unmatched donations.
  • The CEO can reclaim the book, and the opener can delete it.
  • The phone timeline keeps the state word, and Extractions, periods and past cycles are sortable cards.
  • Fixed: a corp with no readable refineries now says so instead of showing “Synced”. Overdue and Paid states are also more accurate.

Market

  • Price History draws daily open Buy/Sell lines at the hub station, and Item Detail has a new Market tab.
  • Appraisal summary is now Buy / Split / Sell, with opt-in Sales tax and Sell after tax columns.
  • The order book has opt-in Tax & fees and Final price columns. It also sorts the whole book before the row cap, so the best orders no longer get cut off.

  • Courier contracts show a Route arrow, and same-place contracts show one Location row.

If you haven’t gotten enough Android testers I’d be happy to.

That would be great. Because of how google does their closed beta testing, I do need an email address so I can add you. If you have a moment, we can connect on discord via Neocom Desk and I can get your information so you can get setup.
