EVE Empire - Cross-platform companion app for EVE Online

Hello everyone,

For a long time, I was an active user and big fan of Neocom II. Unfortunately, the project is effectively dead now, and since it was written only for iOS, I decided to build a modern cross-platform alternative myself using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

The app is heavily inspired by Neocom II, but almost everything was reimplemented from scratch on a new architecture designed to support multiple platforms.

Right now the app already supports:

  • Character management and EVE SSO login

  • Skills, queue, attributes, clones, implants

  • Wallet, transactions, journal, assets, orders, contracts

  • Industry jobs and mining ledger

  • Planetary Interaction overview and production tools

  • Market browser with history and orders

  • Jump Planner and Route Planner

  • Sovereignty, incursions, faction warfare

  • Wormhole database

  • NPC and item databases

  • Killboard integration

  • Multi-character support

  • English and Russian localization

  • Dark/light themes

Currently in active development:

  • Fitting simulator

  • Corporate management tools

  • Corporation industry support

  • Structures, fuel, corp assets and wallets

  • Additional director-level functionality

The fitting system is almost finished already and supports:

  • Full fit editing

  • Mutated modules

  • Ship bonuses

  • Importing fits from the game

  • Exporting fits via ESI

  • Importing fits from killboards

Official release is planned in the next few weeks, but for now anyone interested is welcome to participate in testing and provide feedback.

Absolutely love this app. It is an amazing successor to the old and under/unsupported apps that have existed for years.

Super clear UI, amazing feature-set, and a dev who takes in feedback. 11/10.

Can’t wait for the upcoming fitting tool release

Thank you so much

That was actually one of the main goals — to create a modern successor to the older companion apps that are no longer maintained. Really happy to hear the UI and overall experience feel good to use.

And yes, fitting tool is coming very soon

And huge thanks as well for all the help with testing and feedback — that really helps improve the app.

New version is reelased — 1.2.2 (build 13)

  • Fitting Simulator: rebuilt pickers (market tree + Tech I/II/Faction + damage bars), independent drone stacks, mutation editor, ESI/Clipboard export.

  • Implant Settings with presets, Skill character picker, and missing-skills warning.

  • Killboard: save kill loadout as local fit, ship-type search with Kills/Losses tabs.

  • Fixes: correct skill progress bar, in-game icons for implants/boosters, Login close button, “Skip” after 10s on Onboarding, Android network config.

An app that is called like the crappiest group of players in the game disqualifies itself by default from usage.

Surely you mean the biggest and bestest group in the game?

Jokes aside, what was the reason for calling this app after one of the current largest coalitions in the game?

Is it intended for Imperium members only?

I can imagine this name makes marketing your app a fair bit harder. People easily find a ‘pyfa’ or ‘evemon’, ‘eve rift’ or ‘zkillboard’ but when I search ‘EVE imperium’ I’m going to hit a lot of other more relevant results first.

Haha :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Fair point.

And actually, you’re right — I had already planned to rename the app quite a while ago and even made a new logo for it, but never got around to changing the name publicly until now. It’s now called EVE Empire.

And no, the app is absolutely not intended only for Imperium members. Anyone can use it regardless of alliance/corp/faction — there’s nothing exclusive or restricted to any specific group.

You also make a very valid point about discoverability/searchability, which was another reason for finally making the change.

An update has been released
Please update the app to the latest version.

  • New: Corporation support. Manage your corporation directly in the app — wallet & journal, market orders, members, moons, structures, starbases, industry, contracts, assets, and a wealth overview. Add a corporation from the character management screen using a character with the appropriate roles.
  • Various fixes and performance improvements.

Just keeping everyone updated

I’m planning to do one more small update for Beta testers with minor bug fixes, and after that I want to proceed with the official App Store and Google Play release.

If you still have any feedback, feature requests, or bugs you’ve found, I’d really appreciate it if you report them now.

I’m also planning to create a small website where the PC version of the app will be available.

After release, I plan to work on adding Mercenary Dens, freelance projects, and some additional calculators.

That’s the current plan — stay tuned

Quick update

The site is live: https://eve-empire-web.pages.dev/

You can already download the PC version there (Windows and macOS). The site includes a short first-launch guide — you’ll need to allow the app once in your system, since the build is not yet code-signed.

The official iOS and Android release is on the finish line — submitting to the stores in the next few days. I’ll let you know once it passes review
