It’s okay, all she has to do is challenge him to play a competitive round of [video game] and that block will come right off, followed by about six straight months of posting about how he’s too good at the [video game] to accept the challenge and punctuated with neat lists of all of his accomplishments in [video game] to ensure that no one is mistaken about his vast experience and competence as a [video game] player.
What a coincidence he had it turned off just as I said something he could assume was about him.
Anyway, I still say grats to @Githany_Red for doing what someone said was impossible. For I think three for three so far.
Do you even understand competitive games?
Eve is a resource driven game more than anything else, access to markets and resources are key to success. You my dear Destiny are sitting in the Amarr market that is not used by most people, your success and the success of your alliance is very limited. Blackflag. are dominating you and your alliance completely.
As for me I don’t use Amarr market, access to that market is not important to me, you are just a loud noise that barks every so often in frustration and a desire to be noticed. Woof Woof,
You admitted that you wanted to move a forum war into a game war and for some dumb reason you made a choice to target me, your target selection shows both stupidity and arrogance, it shows me that you have no idea what a competitive game is.
When Marvel Disney finally gets around to Fantastic Four, they need to hire him to write Dr Doom rants.
No True Scotsman fallacy
Ad Hominem fallacy
False Equivalency fallacy.
Off topic posts…, like Destiny’s… And more off topic posts…
False Equivalency fallacy
Ad Hominem fallacy
It really isn’t normal human behavior. I’m starting to get mental illness vibes from that. Maybe we should just stop.
Interesting that you in particular should cry ad hominem fallacy in the forums. I’m trying to think of a time you’ve actually responded to the substance of a discussion instead of attacking the persons character and no examples are coming to mind.
In fact there are only three people in these forums who I’ve actually seen genuinely and regularly respond to the substance of a discussion; Volkan, Ramona, and shipwreck Jones.
That includes the anti ganking side too though.
Im coming to realise that with exception of a few people asking genuine quiestions and being answered, oh and the charachter bazaar, these forums are used for a strange sort of pvp and not actual discussion of the game.
Close observation, but not quite there. There forums are actually for those who want to avoid PvP, and not have an actual discussion of the game. People come here to fight in a risk-free environment (verbally only, can use throwaway alt, no asset loss, etc.), and the regulars who are posting content or answering genuine questions for “a few people” get baited into these fights. We are, essentially, being PvPed here without our consent. It’s very mentally exhausting and emotionally upsetting.
Interesting comparison. Though no environment is risk free. Low risk or mitigated risk for sure but never risk free.
For instance the trolls could try to wind someone up with a post and be met with someone so literal it just goes over their heads and their efforts and energy would be devastatingly wasted.
Who made you the arbiter of whether a discussion even has any substance ?
Hi JJ.
No one, there is no arbitrator but if someone is going to go around spouting this or that fallacy in response to people they should be willing to accept a little criticism about the way they discuss too don’t you think?
Off topic post.
Forum PvP isn’t even real PvP! If you want to disagree with someone, you should go to lowsec and disagree with someone who can actually argue back.
I do not consent to having to defend my positions.
I’m more than willing to do that if they are, but after 15 years there have still been no takers.
All I see is people going round spouting the equivalent of ’ I don’t like tomatoes…therefore they should be banned or at least made semi-strawberry in the name of balance ', and demanding that others ‘discuss’ this absurd proposition.
