I’m confident that someone will suggest or even try to implement it again at some point, those that are commercially driven but don’t understand the product, those that look at the pcu and are worried, the accountancy guys. We can of course hope that wisdom will prevail in the end (with a bit of help from the player base), and that too is a pattern with ccp, until the next guy gets hired…

For instance, and that may surprise you, I personally appreciate your knowledge of the market and the general eve economy, you do things in EvE I cannot, and I would not dream of launching counter-arguments there without any sound basis. But on overall game properties and such, I’m afraid we are indeed worlds apart in our viewpoints.
Often it’s not so much what you say, but how and how often you say it that draws repeated reaction from me and others. Also, there is the matter of motivation. Normally if someone posts as often as you do, it would be someone who cares deeply about the game. But you already denied that. So what’s up ?

Lucas just makes arguments, and then moves the goalposts repeatedly in order to try and score ‘points’. You can see above that he was blatantly dishonest, claiming that CCP is selling ships. He insisted that this is happening, but it is not happening. Now he pretends that he wasn’t talking about ships at all, but this is the essence of intellectual dishonesty. Lucas isn’t interested in facts, or truth, he is only interested in endless arguments to nowhere.
For the record, I don’t think skillpoints make EvE pay to win. CCP shouldn’t be selling them, but it is not a pay to win mechanic. Purchasing skillpoints is basically no different than paying for additional subscription time. I think people should have to wait, but I don’t think they gain an advantage from not waiting - in fact, they are disadvantaging themselves, because they don’t know how to fly the ships they are in.

They do listen to us, and watch our actions, they changed something in game because of one of our campaigns. So make a good case and you never know what might happen
Lucas Kell actually reminds of another frequent poster, who is weirdly absent.

I assume CCP has the tools to carefully look at the accounts posting here, this is certainly a prime candidate. @ISD, at the very least you should take a look for your own sanity. You had to read what, 500+ posts in the last 24h hours because of this guy?

The Nerf ganking trash bin is worse than how it was when gankers would get threads locked.
Ganking is a valid game mechanic and play style for criminal types, to which there are two sides, I learnt lots from these forums when I 1st Started fighting crime, there was post for and against, until gankers started to derail anything against them. It was obvious to everyone that they did this.
How are new players to ever learn like I did, it seems that if you are a ganker, scammer, baiter, war decer, criminal of any type you will have free rein, if you stay just within the rules. On these forums
People come here and think wtf this is toxic with only one side given a platform and never post themselves.
Just dumping every thing with the word ganking into here is pointless this thread should be deleted its to long , new players need short informative post about crime in eve so can help over come it or take part doing it themselves and it need to be controlled to stop it being derailed.
(Please note I referred to all in game activities only when referring to criminal scum and there escapades)

It was not always like this and I do think as we became more effective at ag in game so the derailing intensify and like you said moderators should have stopped it
