I do think all the people against ganking should actually try to AG first.
Crying to daddy CCP is just… lame.

It’s pathetic.
Mike can’t be bothered to do a damn thing in game to fight me, he just snarks in the forums and cries to CCP. Meanwhile, I’ve given specific guidance on how the New Player Experience could be modified in ways that inform and prepare new players, making things harder for myself - but Mike just refuses to even respond to that. He wants new players to dwell in igorance of game realities, because he doesn’t want to “legitimize” ganking which is (in fact) a legitimate gameplay mechanic created by CCP developers.
Miners, freighters, and mission bears already got EHP buffs - what more do they need?
The more sand in the sandbox, the better.
How are gankers able to dock in Highsec stations?
Not only am I supported by the Imperial families and the Caldari state, but I’m also in business with the megacorporations. Killing illegal miners is officially sanctioned policy. You know all those NPC miners you see in the belts, and the Guristas triangles?
They are all supporting me.
I’m not a criminal, I’m executor of the Khanid Mashtori.
I think definitely mega corps would always look the other way.
Us Cal are all about that money anyways!
Illegal miners are a direct threat to the profitability of the Joint Harvesting consortium. The capsuleer poachers must be eliminated.
True, true.
As we both know, miners are some of the universe’s filthiest scum.
The things I’ve heard come out of their mouths!
EvE Uni terrorists even maintain a “how to” guide to help you kill and MURDER the hapless Joint Harvesting miners.

Does Scope propagandist Mike care about the little miners? No. He only cares about billionaire capsuleers, who are engaged in illegal mining operations. Well, I’m not going to stand for it. Someone has to defend the people.
Miners make money out of ore that gets turned into warships. So there’s really no such thing as an innocent miner just ‘minding their own business’ as I saw one claim today. Every miner is part of the supply chain for war…which makes them perfectly legitimate war targets.
When I dock at Jita IV-4, the commander of the naval yard comes to the hangar to greet me with a color guard and a small band. I’m not a criminal, I’m an honored guest and the venerated blood emissary of Khanid.
If it wasn’t for my Diplomacy skill bonus this pilot would be attacked in Amarr space.
There are. EDIT: oh you meant specifically in lowsec, well I guess you can call not going lower than 10 an advantage if nothing else - recovering from -10 is easier than from -unlimited .
As a ganker I find this suggestion reasonable. Still I would like it to be offset by something like removal of concord pulling (as that is main reason why we are using -10 alts in first place → one has to commit criminal act in every sector he wants to gank beforehand each server reboot to get the needed extra time before CONCORD shows up and this is taking a huge toll on our security status) or changing the mechanic to increase security status a bit such as change the boundaries for different clone tags so that we don’t need to use Transporter if we want to avoid being hunted by facpo in 0.5, or that each (or at least Trasporter and Negotiator) tag gives 1.0 instead of 0.5 sec status. If it won’t be that expensive we are more likely to fix our security status by tags which means the demand will be significantly higher and prices will go up too and more players will be engaged in all the stuff around them: hunting clone soldier rats, hunting players hunting these rats, hauling the tags to Jita, buying the tags in Jita and hauling them to CONCORD station etc. etc. resulting in more player interaction = more actual content.
I think it would be hilarious is a true -10 standing pilot could not dock in hisec. Simple consequences.
The Trigs figured that out. I have toon with -2.7 to the Trigs. He can filament there, but not dock in NPC stations or jump gates.
Thats standings with trigs, i think mike was talking about sec status
Calm down Mike.
You don’t even play EvE Online.
Sounds to me like Mike is just a carebear wanting to erase a gameplay mechanic that he opposes for irrational reasons (and has never tried for himself). Mike doesn’t want to actually log in and undock and engage in PvP, he just wants CCP to remove me.

I do play, I have engaged in PvP although it is not my cuppa tea, for the most part. As for whining to CCP, well that was what I was elected to do.
Only cares about Billionaire capsuleers? Do you KNOW what I do in game? No, I don’t fight you in game and to tell the truth? I don’t fight you here, either. I debate game mechanics, simple as that. You are on one side and I, another. I tend to suggest options and call folks out when they lie or go too far in fallacies.
I have said it before, we will not be the arbiters of this decision, that is up to CCP. If they decide that ganking is too prevalent in the game then they will make changes (like buffing the mining ships). If that does not bandage the wound then they will apply pressure in other ways. THEY will, not at my behest or to spite Aiko but because the company would like to last.

No. I have no idea what you claim to do.
MIke, it’s a VIDEO GAME.
I am so sorry that you are upset, because I accused you of siding with the capsuleers, against the NPCs. I am so sorry that you feel defensive about that. I have no idea why, but I think it’s something that you should calm down about.
I hope Mike does something more than fly a rickety old Bowhead.
CCP could literally replace that with Daily login rewards.

But see this here reveals your bias. You believe ganking hurts retention. CCP has said time and time again it doesn’t.
Griefing and ganking aren’t the same, tho people mistake ganking for griefing all the time.
If they get rid of ganking, EVE becomes not EVE. Its that simple.
Why don’t you look it up? It pretty directly helps new capsuleers. Not only is his activity widely known he talked about it at his fanfest presentation which is well worth a watch.
You mean more than you who believes in a player driven universe but won’t load a single antimatter shell to help the noobs?
LOL.
Except that they literally just did at the fanfest just gone.
Nope, they didn’t Yennoe, multiple times you’ve been pointed out how you’re wrong and you keep pushing this lie LOL.
AG isn’t a viable playstyle so no amount of loading shells will help them.
How isn’t it? Have you tried? I’m sure it’d be viable to those noobs you saved. But I guess you don’t really want to drive the universe as a player huh?
You’ll just cry to daddy CCP
LOL, the irony.
If ganking is griefing…
…why doesn’t CCP ban me, right now, today?
