Yes, but if your standings with them are above -1.0, they will not shoot you unless provoked. Certainly keeps Trig pilots on their toes though.
You donât have to kill anything, a target painter works just fine for having your standings adjusted.
Sure is a lot of PVE âcontentâ for these âPVP IS GODâ proselytes. Hypocracy - my favorite soap opera.

I have given ccp the benefit of the doubt till now, I want them to refund all ships lost including my small one today. I am usually a fan boy but this is the dumbest thing I have seen.
CCP almost never reimburse ships, the only reason that theyâve historically done so is when people lose them to server problems.

well now i know why people donât want to play anymore, properly communicating threat level you would think would be important, I guess not for ccp. I am having so much restraint issues not going full profanity in this post.
Why?
CCP has made it so that any trig system prompts a warming message about the danger of entering that system.
If youâre dumb enough to ignore this warming or have turned these prompts off, itâs not CCPâs fault.
CCP has left these warming up for TTI (trig Aligned players) on Edencom systems for the same reason.
Basically player beware!

The threat level is communicated, many ignore that communication; which puts them on the same level as those who blindly sail into Juta during one of the annual burn events.
The first time that happened CCP put a dirty gurt warning on the login screen that basically said if you go to Jita youâre going to die. People ignored it and whined incessantly, much as you are here.
Itâs simple, donât be stupid and ignore the warnings, itâs not like the Trigs suddenly appeared yesterday.

I think there is a valid concern though. You need to refer to a 3rd party website to know if a minor victory system is Trig or Edencom (it should be available in game, especially on routes and gates). Nobody has pointed out the fact that the Agency has capped out counting Edencom Fortresses at 32. There are 49.
Changes that happen without notifications or warnings is something we get used to in this game 
Reading patch notes and dev blogs really becomes mandatory to mitigate your risks.

Youâre not wrong tbh.
That said Eve has always been a game where your own initiative is required to mitigate the risks, its rarely spoonfed us anything at all.
CCP UI design is legendar.
