New Eden Police Force

The empires are strong enough to police their space. There’s enough police as it is with CONCORD.

Hey Dryson, just get yourself a hero Nestor, with remote shield and armor reps. Lock up ganking targets and rep them, while hitting the gankers with drones. You may save a pilot’s life!

Don’t counter violence with violence, my friend. Choose love instead.

Love is nothing more than a word used to describe the act of sexual procreation. Love, anyway.

I’m certain there would be players that would take on the role of a New Eden Law Enforcer, based on the criteria established above. The NELEO (New Eden Law Enforcement Officer) could access any mission gate, to assist a player being attacked by gankers. The NELEO could be called by the mission runner in system to sit on the gate the mission runner has used. The NELEO could not enter the mission site until the mission runner was attacked, which would trigger the gate to allow the NELEO into the mission site where the NELEO could then engage the gankers at will.

Once the mission runner has completed the site and if the NELEO stays, the NELEO would receive an ISK reward + LP reward from the site beacon, based on the difficulty level of the site. The NELEO could even loot the wrecks and reprocess the items.

I’m certain there are players who would enjoy piloting a NELE class ship.

A NELEO Corporation is meant to make CONCORD a real profession in the game instead of twisting semantics by saying there are already police players in the game, just fit up a ship and go look for red bad guys.

Hwat? HWAT?
Anyway, the ships would have to have very good align times, and that would likely make them abused for shipping purposes. Those guns need ammo, and the ship could easily be used as a courier ship with stellar align times, and unkillable to boot, making these ships autopilot transport machines. There are so many problems with this concept that it would really break the highsec environment and a few specific cluster-wide industries.
Not to mention, you can do everything this NELEO plans to do already!

Just fit up an artillery Tornado (for example), get its align time as low as possible and its warp speed as high as possible, then go around looking for gankers, be they criminal ships or -5 “permaflashies”. Be an antiganker. Buy yourself a Nestor, Tornado, Navy Dominix, whatever you need! Maybe even bait gankers by running low-tier abyssals in 0.5-security space with max-tanked assault cruisers with plates, resist mods, and the ADCU. The sites won’t be hard, and the gankers will come expecting a blingy kill.

There is literally no reason for this to exist in the game.

Because you said there is no reason for this to exist in the game is the exactly the reason this needs to exist in the game.

Well that’s unemployed, because it makes no cents.

The player police would receive pop-up intel messages when any player below a 0.0 came into a system. The player police would be directed towards the players warp out point to ensure the -0.1 player didnt hurt their sec status.

Regardless of whatever argument this is…

This is funny AF.
