Just adding my support to getting a disable function for this, I accept that some people may like the red blob however it’s just a constant annoyance for me so i’d like the ability to make it go away, thanks

Any reason why the notification stops at 7 and goes to 7+? I mean, why that number. Surely 9 if you run out of space for double digits but 7 just seems weird… Oh and please add a disable button 
This ‘mobile device style’ notification for new items is ugly and annoying.
I’m sure CCP’s UI design team could firstly make something that is a bit more graphically inline with the entire UI and not some red dot that looks like its from IOS 4.0
It’s also unnecessary for actions like moving things to a cargo hold because “I PUT THEM THERE!”
Like mobile device notification, you get the options to turn on/off for each action.
My suggestions: 1. Make it look more in-line with UI. 2. Give options for when/where it appears.

Please add a way to disable the red dots.
just remove it all together, it makes the game feel like a cheap freemium game.
(since alpha&omega states it kinda is, but annyway)
