New Launcher keeps ignoring my accounts

I try to install the new launcher but it never reads my accounts but starts empty. I deleted everything I found regarding the new launcher and reinstalled several times but it doesnt recognize my installation.

How can I install the new launcher so that it actually uses my current eve installation?

btw: I did install the beta launcher last year so thats probably the reason

The shared cache folder is correctly set?

define ‘correctly’, it is the same folder as in the old client.
