got the same error! I have another mac with the new launcher (not the legacy) but didn’t update it yet to today’s version. that launcher still works. I’m not sure how this iteration of the macOS launcher even made it to the public - you can’t even start it

why is access even denied to https://launcher.ccpgames.com/eve-online/release/darwin/universal/? is there some other way to download an old version of the launcher? usually archives like that can be accessed
Go to Applications → rename eve-launcher to eve-launcher2 (just in case) then download the client from this page:
Install as per normal, and it works. This page was also updated yesterday, maybe it got hotfixed in.
