I have more real-world comparisons, but anything that doesn’t agree with already established mindsets here don’t even get a reading.
But at this point, we not only have the massive hindrance to isk liquidity in the market, but with the new massive drawbacks of mineral availability, we’ve got a big new source of market freezing.
“Don’t fly what you can’t afford to lose”
Now ALL ships take more effort to replace. So more conservative flying will likely reduce the number of ships needing replacing. This will bring more reduction to the market.
But all this seems to be according to plan, if the move to more microtransactions continues. CCP isn’t just CCP anymore. Pearl Abyss has a voice as well, and as to microtransactions, just check out Black Desert Online.
So THAT market may take off in a big way in the coming months. Get your plex purchased and ready and say goodbye to much of the ease of getting your ships and gear on the isk market.
None of which actually matter because this is a video game, unless you can show me EXACTLY how EVE Online and these “real-world comparisons” are related. Otherwise, you’re just spewing nonsense.

For reference, here’s my current wallet overview.
I haven’t changed my behavior at all. I’ve been pricing my goods at smart levels, And I’m seeing even better returns now on my sell orders than I did before.
WRONG.
You’re assuming that trash like you are the only source of minerals in the game. There are plenty of miners, many of whom are organized, who still mine and are taking advantage of the increased demand for Ore / Minerals.
They don’t take “more effort” to replace. They may cost more ISK but that’s just a reflection of the market balancing itself out after the changes take place. If you can’t handle that, then you, my friend, have failed the “adapt or die” test.
ALSO WRONG!
This will bring more COMPETITION into the market.
If you can sell an Atron for 2m isk when you used to sell an Atron for 450,000 ISK, who is going to just sit around? There’s a TON of profit to be made!! I see more people than ever getting into the game and also getting into all sorts of different parts of the industrial chain because it’s more profitable now!
And the rest of this is just crap that I don’t care to address. You don’t even explain what “microtransactions” you’re talking about. Skill Extractors? PLEX? What? All you’re doing is just showing off how little of the game you actually know, and how insignificant your actual impact on the game is overall.
Keep talking though, I’m still waiting for you to prove me wrong with that economy collapse.
So basically you are saying “somewhere in the future they may be a crash and THIS WILL BE BECAUSE OF THIS PATCH ONLY”.
That’s complete stupidity.
You were wrong. You are a shameless stupid person on those forum, claiming stupidity and not accepting to be called as such. You made a bet, that a collapse would happen, claiming that it would prove you were right - which is not the case, and lost that bet.
Please, go ■■■■ yourself. You are making a fool of yourself, and wasting everybody’s time with your rants, your stupid predictions, your fake accusations, your retarded analyses. You were wrong, have been proven wrong, and don’t even have the decency to shut the ■■■■ up.
I seem to recall this poster making note of when others would post personal attacks. Yet here this one is. I suppose the poster is attempting to get the thread locked over the presence of personal attacks that it has posted here?
Seriously, I like that you have passion, but given that no one has a spine as it is, I cant see em getting any more spudlike
Ummm… they can all fly Dominixes? (Dominices?) That would be the ultimate in spudlike flying.
But anyway, I guess null hasn’t seen as much fighting, but it seemed like there was some fighting going on in terms of low and high sec structure-bashing? I was seeing lots of salvaging going on in the aftermath of those sessions.
I just realized…
How come we can’t let buyers do “bulk” buys or wholesale?
For example, if I sell missiles at say 100 ISK a piece, do so at the first 1000 missiles. But if you buy 10000 missiles, sell them at say 90 ISK a piece.
Wonder why that was never allowed? Ammo sellers could push more ammo and it’s a realistic thing to do.
It has resulted in me moving to other markets and or activities. There is less profit in station trading. I think in time you will see less rapid liquidity for large orders as traders be less apt to put down large buy orders.
Probably an implementation issue since the market system doesn’t allow for any communication between buyers and sellers or designating multiple ways to buy an item. It would take a pretty thorough reworking of the market to add this feature and I’m not convinced it would add much over the current method of negotiating deals privately and executing the trade via contract.
I think the profit loss ratio stabilizes along various fluctuating floating points which renders your points invalid without first calculating the net buoyancy. Solvency should never determine inert market datasets as redundant without full trajectory analysis. Sorta like a 2 legged stool if you catch my drift.
This is a funny update, finally the dumb 0.01iskers are kicked out since they had no idea about trading to begin with.
The downside is that’s it’s more handholding in what should be a sandbox and not letting dumb people waste time grinding the market ui if that’s what they wish.
Because for that you have contracts. When you sell ammo on the market, simply mail your clients the offerings. This can be automated using the ESI. If you want better deals, get in contact with the dealers. That’s better than a system that allows for it without any interaction at all.
Generally am I not aware of any market place where this would be a thing. When someone wants better deals, he has to contact the dealer.
That’s so true, on my side that exactly what I see ( and do ).
I consider the decline of the Plex price as a result of the morosity of the market.
Yes even in 2020, despite of its disappearance from the MER, I judge the market through the Plex looking glass .
( is it the tail that moves the dog or the dog that moves its tail ? )
Take it like one of my indicators of the market state .
You can take it if you want like an anti-botter indicator, that is not my case, perhaps CCP in your eyes are becoming more efficient to track the botters ?
And about the farmers, in this case the players in general ( everyone farms something … until fed-up ) ,
I don’t see the link.
