Howdy folks,
Now that I’ve got a stable career and my life is in order I decided to ruin it and jump into an eve:online addiction. I’m coming from games like X4 foundations, Elite, OSRS, Foxhile, and factorio (I really like the automation and logistics themes, but always felt a bit lonely without a dedicated group to hang out with).
I’ve watched eve from a distance for a long time because I knew I’d get hooked. I’ve played for about a week and really enjoyed ratting and low-sec mining on an omega account. My IRL work is in research, so my time off is typically very chaotic - sometimes I get home way earlier or later than expected, haha.
My goal in joining a corp is to find a group of people that I can connect with and actually remember everyone’s names! I would prefer to join a smaller established group that can help me find all the fun things to do, and I’m very open to trying more parts of the game as I grow more confident.

I’ll send a similar message in game. I runa a smaller corporation in a coalition so we have the best of both the big and the small. WE are a groupf of about 10 corp memebers that play going on 3 years now. We also have other corporations that we orbit around so once you know us then you can start picking up on the wider community.
I’ll keep it short. Our first and only real rule is Real Life First. everything is down stream of that. We have guys that do shift work and rotate ina dn out, we have guys that have medical issues like me that just took 2 months off to recover from surgery, we have guys that run businesses or are truly commited to their Real Life, and we just role with it. Just let us know you are still alive so we know you are good, but if you are looking for a casual place with hardcore outlets, then give us a shot.
