What was rigged? From my understanding, the trig players simply had more stamina and EDENCOM players were tired from a previous system fight. This could have been avoided with more EDENCOM support from the player base. CCP themselves had no idea when Niarja would be targeted (yes it had the correct star type to be a target).
Rens imo shoots itself in the foot with what I will call “what else you gonna do besides pay my price” selling.
Answer…I can run a BR for the next half an hour for a jita to heimatar run. That’s what I can do.
Make price high enough…20 ish jumps looks better in faster haulers really. 2 Frigates move easy. Mods as well. Of late rens/hek area I jsut buy dessie+ hulls since larger.

I came back 5 months ago after a 5 year time off. I don’t see any evidence that Amarr has changed at all. It’s still a ■■■■ hub where selling things takes forever, and oddball things will never sell. It’s also difficult to buy uncommon things. I’d rather blow through Ahbazon than buy/sell there.
It’s cool seeing that bit of nostalgia but I don’t think it’s really relevant. To put this in perspective, I couldn’t really play solidly over thanksgiving, but when I came back I saw that there was a target that would hit at least 3 different highsec systems.
I had every intention of getting into that fight, but I got incredibly ill on Thursday morning. One hospital visit and much bed rest later, here I am, logging on to check the state of said insurgency and it’s already done. We’re talking less than a week of those systems being dangerous.
I want to point out that I’m not some fanboy of these sorts of mechanics. I was actually really skeptical about how long these would last, and I’m not a huge fan of how CCP has handled this stuff in the past. But this just isn’t even in the same category.
If we were talking about permanent, or semi-permanent changes then yeah, there’d be a lot more to be worried about. Because at the end of the day NS is just going to win against HS, and probably LS, every time. Even if we win the fights, we won’t win the war. They’re two fundamentally different areas of space; NS is full of massive corps of people used to having expectations on their time and what they’re supposed to do. HS and LS are filled with people who don’t want that sort of gameplay, or don’t have the ability to commit to that.
Players who like to play peacefully will play peacefully so if you are like “now you have to do PVP or be kicked out” its not hard to predict what will happen. So dont act like there could have been another outcome.
Thats why they do them. If a player has suggested something or thought about something before CCP, then CCP will absolutely not do it. Its a power corrupts kind of thing. They also drag their feet in general. Its just pathetic

When we angels claimed abudban at stage 5 the party began. Some traded in throwaways on sites since it can get rough and setup the good stuff. Lets see who wasn’t paying attention to the abudban security notice leaving Rens.
FOB moved, system(s) cleaned up and a a new corruption countdown began. FOb moves insurgency cleans up jsut like that.
When I dipped in on eve checks past few years I had empathy for other wanderers. I before I ennui quit (not rage, jsut ennui lol) just put my stuff in jita or a quiet section of empire. JIta would be the last system they’d break is why.
If they break jita…eve is now dying officially. they’d be pulling what warhammer online did. Its last days of server life they opened up it all up. have fun in anarchy till we literally unplug the servers lol.
Some came back to billions stuck in trig space. A nice welcome back to eve there.
And I have no empath for ccp as it probably lost them subs. Lots of people said okay my stuff is in crap hole. Self move a pita. Paying the protection fees of the main crew r"running" the place a pita too.
They finally won eve. They stopped playing it for real this time.
Tl;dr…given the temporary impact of pirate fw they should have done this the first time in this region.
The people who do their thing in Abudban lost 2 days. They could hit the ground running on monday. any leftover pirates there were back to wt kills or moving their crap out like I was to new FOB.
I had crap to move with a crappy irl time limitation. No time for wt’s so sure as hell no time for neut kills either.
