I originally built this as a solve for a personal tool need on my Linux system, but after announcing it on Reddit a few months ago, a deluge of DMs on Discord with feature requests began, most of them centering around a port to Windows. I shipped that in the second major release, and then I got to work on building preview windows for Linux which is quite a challenge given the veritable galaxy of display and window managers available to Linux users which have failed to provide a quality preview window experience. I’d followed efforts to produce preview windows for Linux systems in the past and while the effort was there, nothing seemed to really provide the quality experience of preview windows on Windows. Today’s v0.5.0 release delivers a Linux preview window experience which is on par with its Windows side.
I really enjoy building things I need, and it’s always nice for others to get value out of my projects that are born from nothing more than scratching my own itch. That being said, we have a great Discord community where you can share feature requests, bug reports, etc, and I hope you’ll join us there so we can make the best client management tool in Eve together.
Most importantly, this project will always remain open source software.
