EvE needs more risk and reward:

All ships now have a small chance of exploding in space at any time due to malfunctions. Carrying more plex in cargo reduces this risk.

Allow players to hack jump gates. Hacked gates have a chance of sending players to a random wrong system in that general direction for the next hour.

Using a filament before taking a gate recalibrates the gate for the next 30 seconds to jump to a different area so anyone taking that gate can follow you filamenting.

Concord bills out the expanses of an intervention to the party that was agressed.

Using a filament in lowsec makes you exit game

Dancing ships with /dance, and premium dances.

An entire standup structure skill tree so we can have dedicated station pilots that take years to train.

Ship repairs in stations take time to finish.

CONCORD will stop chasing you if you change your ship SKIN at a station.

Add a 5m3 drone bay to the Guristas Shuttle.

Give the nestor a cloak bonus

Increase all wormholes mass to a minimum of 100 x max ship mass, so that they cannot be rolled.

Star gates get a maximum mass like wormholes and can be closed after letting too much mass pass, only to recharge during downtime.

Add carbon to materials for select blueprints.

One time use wormholes that anything can fit through, but they always close behind you.

Make carbon useful for something

Last ship to close wormhole has a 70% chance of not closing the wormhole.

When changing systems, let the ships stay in the tunnel until the maximum number of players in the target system allows new players to enter. I hope at least the music is played like in the elevator.

Make Vitoc important.

Your ship crew can riot and force you to escape in your pod.
