One Way to Balance High-Security Space 🗡

Not according to @Lucas_Kell.

It’s low tier game play that anyone can avoid.

Due to the lack of incentive, as I pointed out in the original post.

No one has been able to present a valid argument that the incentives for anti-ganking even come close to those of ganking.

Nothing wrong with ganking or suicide ganking or scamming or hisec

NO.

Do you know how many times I come home from work only to find a ■■■■ post locked before I can ■■■■ post?

It’s like watching TV commercials that try to mislead you into something you don’t want or need. I think a lot of it is funny!

Good ■■■■ posting from both sides! Shows how boring the game got.

Edit; And we all know this will never end.

Our assets are now just pixels in the past…

EvE Echo’s get more love these days - Sadly…

Don’t confuse, allowed, with wrong.

Perhaps.
Content is a good thing. I do hope, though, that you are not suggesting something akin to the old-old bounty system, where the popper got the whole thing? There was valid reason that system was replaced.
A bounty similar to a rat seems to me that it might motivate some - and fine, go for it - but unlikely many. Risk averseness would outweigh still for most.

Salt is very much more valuable than isk, not all motivations are the same even for the same player.

Man, ganking has been nerfed so much! Obviously not as much as some want…and the doomer in me laments probably not as much as it is likely to be…but a lot! If a mark refuses to use things such as D-scan and the f11, that’s on them and doesn’t equal an inherent advantage to ganking.

ya Eve Echo’s ends the whole concept of alt fleets. That ends a ton of bull in the game.

I take it the invitation is one which can be declined?

Clearyly someone here has no clue about the difference between ISK faucet and ISK sink.

It’s amazing that while being completely clueless he has the audacity of stepping into the proscenium and fart so many words in so many posts

Huh no, I just miss read you’re post.

If you want to fight I would rather do it in game.

Not only that, but the only ISK Faucet involved is the insurance payout to the target of the gank.

So its an ISK faucet for gank victims.

Aside from that, it’s a completely ISK neutral activity.

Here’s another way to introduce anti-ganking in hisec.

Let players assume the role of concord by buying concord permits for a number of hours, with the same response times even (but not with their invulnerability, of course).

Be a bad ass space cop…

You can thank me later.

I shouldn’t have to pay for if I have to put my own ships at risk.

I don’t mind that idea. Let characters join CONCORD in Yulai and then be jump portalled to the gank site as part of the CONCORD response.

The players won’t be as efficient as CONCORD, but would give them a better sense of being able to overcome the randomness of the gank location that they can’t predict.

Would come with jump fatigue too though, but they’d often be able to work that off while slow boating back to Yulai for the next jump. That’d be fun.

You buy the intel and the instawarp to action, should be worth something. And don’t afk or you will get ganked as you land, LOL :stuck_out_tongue:

From a certain twitch show I watched literally an hour ago, apparently the biggest hit hisec ganking ever took was the nerf on insurance payouts. Let the would-be space cops still enjoy their insurance payouts, that should fix it (if they really suck at what they’re doing).

Thinking this over. I like the idea!

I’m still thinking about it myself, I kinda like it, haha.

Hell, I might even try to pitch it to @Brisc_Rubal and his merry band of CSM

Mr. Brisc, this is the idea to introduce a novel way of anti-ganking in hisec:
