As most of you likely know, there is a bug which causes the opportunities reward notification to be highlighted even when you have no rewards waiting to be redeemed. I have had this bug now several times on different characters. It’s getting very annoying. And it appears this has been going on for quite a while to many players without a fix.
So, I would like to suggest that CCP just remove the notification altogether. If you actually care about the rewards then, like me, you probably check at least once every time you log in. If, on the other hand, you don’t care about the rewards, then you’re not going to care to be notified. Either way there doesn’t really seem to be any real need for the notification itself.
So, please CCP devs, if you can’t figure out how to solve this bug permanently, just get rid of it. Hopefully soon. Surely removing the notification would be far easier than debugging it?
