I 've been preparing to come back to EVE by watching tutorials and podcasts, and after watching a number of them I have a couple of requests:
Please, slow down. If you talk too fast, it’s hard to follow you. And if you are flashing through your visuals at the speed at which you play, it’s hard to keep track of what you are trying to illustrate.
Please define jargon, especially in beginner videos. Assume your listener knows jack about EVE, even in intermediate tutorials.
These are just a couple of suggestions that might help your viewers and students get the most from your well-appreciated work. Thanks!
Even though i love EVE Online, i find any eve yt vid no matter the subject extremely monotonous.
None of them capture my attention. Its just not a game i tend to watch other people play even though i watch folks play lots of other games on yt and twitch.
I abhor most of the video content provided by EVE “content providers”. They’re highly click-baity (Loru, looking at you specifically). All these videos are tailored for the “algorithm”. It’s as bad as AI slop…
I enjoy Oz and Gustav and the odd random video posted on Reddit.
