PLEASE REVERT THE VARGUR NERFZ! And BOOST the BLACKOPS!

You took us out the 100% Shield extenders Bonus, without increasing the base Shield and Armor HP one Bit.

Now you took away from us 12.5% Fallow Bonus…. From 7.5% per level to 5% per Level…

Hail over 40Km is useless… USELESS…. We have to use BARRAGE to get 90km Falloff and it’s doing

paper damage…

We had to sacrifice one MID for a MWD or an AB to try get more mobility, further sacrificing TANK, and add a SECOND Computer to just get somewhat NEAR what it once was our Falloff…

PLEASE, Give us back TANK, or TWICE the SPEED, add a 37.5% Tracking BONUS…

Just give the VARGUR SOMETHING!!!

You can’t only NERF the crap out of it without giving him nothing in return…

And the BLACKOPS, also… They don’t have Bastion, the have few Guns… they have few MID SLOTS

and 6 low slots are the bare minimum… The Panther don’t have Missile points either…

The Capacitor is a joke and it doesn’t have nor Shield nor Armor Booster bonuses…

IT’s a BLACK OP but can not FIT BLACK OPS MODULES…

I can hit around 1500 DPS with a half decent TANK but with absolutely ZERO application.

NO WEBS

NO AB or MWD

I have 100% Shield Boost Extender Bonus and still can’t hit 100K EHP…

It’s still a good ship, but I dont’ understand why all BLACK OPS can’r receive a small Buff,

INSTEAD OF NERFING THE VARGUR… MAYBE it would be possible to BUFF the BLACK OPS???

Then we could get our Vargur Falloff and 100% Extenders Back?

PS: Their role in Vanguard has always been that of Snipers…

Stay back, load 1200 or 1400mm guns, and thanks to the 7.5% Falloff bonus, it as the preferred Sniper Ship… Making 5% BREAK all the tactics!!! It’s not Viable anymore!!!

Panther still has the 7.5% Falloff Bonus, but it’s paper DMG compared to the Vargur…

It is used, however, AGAINST VARGURS and in some cases is preferable to Vargurs in some

pocket or Blockated Vanguard sites for it Jump Portal abilities…

It’s Mids are still absurdly LOWS!!! 5 Mids for a Black OPS?

I would give him

7 GUNS POINTS (+2 GUN POINTS)

8 MIDS (+3 MIDS)

An according CPU and PG Boost to fit 7 1400mm and a MWD.

Also a fixed 100% Drone Bonuses (Hit points, Speed and DMG)

and a 10% Shield and Armor rep bonus per BLACK OPS Level.


NOW, it still would do LESS DMG than a Marauder, that can hit 3000+ DPS…

But it would do 2000 DPS AND a X_LARGE with 50% more would get 200 HP/s rep,

which is still more than HALF that of a Marauder, but + 3 MIDS means it could fit an AB, a CAP BATTERY, and perhaps a GUN COMPUTER and OUTRANGE a Marauder in combat…

Making it also a viable solution for Vanguards…

And this is only the PANTHER, there’s THREE MORE BLACK OPS and THREE MORE MARAUDERS that should be adjusted accordingly…

Black Ops battleships are the only ships able to fit the black-ops module “Covert Jump Portal Generator”.

They also gain a massive bonus to speed with regular cloaks to the point that they’re faster cloaked than decloaked, so fitting a faction cloak on those battleships feels like a black ops module to me too.

All black ops ships got a small buff a few years ago, and the Sin finally got their buff last update. These are fantastic ships and well worth their cost.

If you want better application with your black ops ship I suggest bringing along recons in the black ops fleet like a Rapier to web and paint the target for better application, a Pilgrim to drain the target’s capacitor so it doesn’t move as fast or an Arazu to disable their MWD and MJD for easier hitting.

As someone who loves flying Black Ops battleships I think they’re in a good spot right now.

Why would a buff to Black Ops battleships mean the Vargur can be buffed back to it’s problematic values?

It got those nerfs for a reason.

I would BAN Marauders from entering Crimson sites…

This is something that really pisses off most players….

PvP is what drives most balance changes in this PvP game after all.

The Vargur was particularly strong with three ancillary shield boosters as it was completely immune to being neuted that way, and could reach insane sustained repair rates.

If you ask me CCP should have limited ancillary shield boosters to 1 per ship already instead though. I wonder if the Vargur would then still have needed such nerfs.

Ancillary armor repairers, remote ancillary shield and armor repairers and both versions of capital modules are all already limited to 1 per ship. Only subcapital shield ships can still equip multiple ancillary shield boosters for some reason and it’s problematic in some cases.
