For anyone who hasn’t come across it before: Pod is a desktop app for managing your Eve characters, available on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It connects through ESI and pulls everything into one place, so instead of bouncing between clients, the in-game UI, and a pile of spreadsheets, you can keep your whole account stable organized in a single app.
Today I’m releasing Pod v0.5.0, a complete ground-up rewrite. The new foundation let me pack in a lot, so here’s the rundown of what Pod can do:
* Manage your characters: all your toons in one place, with skill training status, current location, wallet balance, docked state, and custom tags and squads so you can group them however makes sense to you.
* Manage your corporations: keep tabs on corp details like member count, tax rate, CEO, and HQ.
* View your skill queue: see what’s currently training, how far along it is, when the queue finishes, and the full list of upcoming skills with completion dates and SP.
* Create skill plans: map out a path to any ship or goal, with attribute remap optimization (current vs proposed), skill injector estimates, and a breakdown of training time by skill group and attribute pair. Import and export plans too.
* Send and receive in-game mail: a unified inbox across all your characters, with compose, reply, forward, star, snooze, pin, and archive.
* Keep track of your ISK flow: net worth over time, liquid ISK, assets, and escrow, plus a full wallet journal, market transactions, and contracts broken down by category.
* Asset management: browse everything you own across characters, regions, systems, and stations, filter by category, and see value and volume at a glance.
* Abyssal asset management: track your mutaplasmid-rolled modules with their rolled stats compared to base, and filter by stat ranges to hunt down the exact roll you’re after.
* Stockpiles: set target quantities for materials and items, track what you have versus what you still need, and import straight from multibuy.
and more.

One important heads up: this release is not backwards compatible. The rewrite changed how auth works, so if you’re an existing user you’ll need to re-authenticate all of your toons once you’ve updated. It’s quick, just didn’t want it to catch anyone off guard.
On the upside, a big part of this rewrite was building in mitigation for breaking changes going forward, so with any luck this is the last time you’ll have to re-setup the app from scratch.
If you’ve got questions, bug reports, or feature ideas, come hang out in the Discord: https://discord.gg/VZpQ56pcHw
And if you give Pod a try and find it useful, you can throw some ISK in the tip jar and help fund my next Helios (details on the website)
Happy to answer any questions in the comments too. Fly safe o7
