You know how polarized weapons work, right? They’re only on short range missile weapons, ie:
• Rockets, Heavy Assault Missiles, Torpedoes
So the answer will be “no”, “hell no” - for a wide variety of reasons. But mostly just “no”.

Yes, they are meant to encourage commitment, not cowardly running circles around a target that cannot hit you. That’s why no long range weapon has a Polarized version.
And I would absolutely abuse a polarized cruise launcher with auto-targeting missiles…

Polarised Arty when?
Kiting and sniping would be too powerful if besides not being damaged you also deal a lot more damage with polarized weapons.
The drawback of polarization is far less of a drawback when your strategy depends on not getting hit anyway.
That’s probably the reason only the short range version of each weapon type has a polarized version, so that it is a meaningful sacrifice to use them.
