Project Discovery - Really Odd Trace

This looks really odd to me, first time I’ve seen anything like this. Any idea what this could be?

I’ve not looked at Project Discovery at all so probably way off but my snap impression would be a lot of dust/swarm of smaller bodies like comets being part of the signal.

EDIT: Having a quick look at Project Discovery possible it is also a star that is giving off regular flares or similar?
