There isn’t another game the same as EVE, so if someone gets even a bitter-vet type of enjoyment in their entertainment/spare time from it, no wonder they might be reluctant to voluntarily quit.
In relation to Lucas, I don’t believe he lacks will power though. He might be a lot of things, but immature/addicted/lacking power doesn’t strike me as one of them.

That’s the thing all the people who want changes constantly fail to see. Eve is a complex, interconnected, universe. Even the smallest change has unforeseen consequences beyond any original intentions. All the talk of ‘rebalancing’ fails to take into account that to balance one aspect means unbalancing another.
To give just one small example…the proposal some make of preventing red or yellow status in highsec. That would either prevent anyone from stealing loot from a wardeced attacked station, or prevent anyone proactively preventing them. So a change ostensibly designed to affect ganking also affects other play styles. And one could cite many other examples.

In the fact that I actually do have 156 accounts almost all with 3 characters on them… 3 computers and 6 monitors…
98% of those accounts are alpha…but i have enough plex to sub them all up at once without spending a dime of RL cash.
Without ganking in HS, I could grief anyone that wanted to try and mine against me…and if you think some Nullseccrs would not come to HS for the same reason, perfect safety and all that…or botters and such…then you both are really really stupid. SO thinking of new players…I and vets like Scipio are thinking of them and the overall health of the game…where you two are being total bell ends.
The notion that I’m in cahoots with the gankers is just pure nonsense. There is no group mindset on the matter. There’s no Ganker Illuminati. A lot of the ganker groups are rivals with each other and there’s no love lost between them. People like me spend some of our time providing intel against the gankers. I even provide ISK to some gankees…as I have billions of ISK sitting around doing nothing.
The only thing all these groups have in common is a recognition that ganking is essential for highsec. Even AG groups like NEPF accept that. Ganking is content…something you singularly fail to grasp.

again you are an idiot, this did not happen…the actual mechanic you are trying to refer to was that Ice belts spawned almost immediately to different System/constellation in the game…meaning sometimes you didnt get 1 in your area for days or sometimes weeks cause some Losec system or nullsec system had 10,12, or 15 spawned in them.

You really haven’t thought this out at all. Look…here are some of the unforeseen consequences…
With a totally safe highsec, there will be even more Procurers, Mackinaws, etc ( you know…the sort of ships you agree miners have to wait weeks to get into ) wiping the belts clean. Those ships ( and not Ventures ) are actually the main mining ships gankers gank.
With no barges being ganked, the asteroid belts will be wiped clean before all the noob Ventures have a chance to get any ore. In fact that is what already happens in my relatively safe corp HQ system. By the time I get my Venture out to do a bit of mining…there is no ore left !
You are not doing noobs a favour at all. Every barge ganked is actually more chance for the noob Venture to get some ore.
