How are these guns used? What kind of tanking can you use while fitting them?

Speed tank and/or buffer tank with raw shield/armor hp.

Too expensive to use in destroyers, but might be “fine” in ABCs.
Polarized weapons and EWAR tank (sensor damps or tracking/guidance disruptors) are a match made in heaven.
Just be prepared to add a few modules/rigs/implants to get the weapon range required to use EWAR.
