Say the last name of this thing, say it!
Rooster
Every day I wish I could be angry about a friggin’ 3D model in a video game. Such wonderful simple life!
Speaking of 3D models if I tell someone these days about captains quarters they will think you are trolling them
1st world problems…amirite?
Considering how many ships in EVE have “wings”, I’d consider just de-installing right now, OP. Might save you from a lot of headaches in the future.
Wingy bits, pointy bits, bulky bits, thats what spaceships are made of.
Just a bunch of bits and pieces, sounds like:
We’re not in space though. We’re swimming in treacle, why do you think we slow down when we turn the engines off?
Wonder if OP ever thought it might be just for style and to store fuel and sensor.
Just look at the Romulan Ships and the Klingon Birds of Prey, all have wing styled designs, most can’t enter atmospheres.
Anything that helps give the sense of scale is cool though.
Yeah it was just humour
I think the sense of scale is a bit meaningless, it may look like there are a lot of ships but how many ships (as in ships that float) do you think there already are today ? the best a simulation can ever hope to be is a representation. I mean the lore goes on about how there are 1000’s of people on board, why ? the whole thing is run by nanobots what are these people doing other than making you feel guilty about dying ?
Then why we have capsuleers?
The whole thing is still run by people. They just happen to have some amazing tools that help immensely.
Only because someone wrote that, there’s literally nothing that makes it more than someone with a mouse and a keyboard controlling the thing.
There’s a very interesting possibility which I can’t reveal (sorry!) I like the idea that people are on them.
Good, that’s one person happy then
On a frigate-sized ship, there’s on average 3-5 additional crew members. The Gallante use mostly drones, Amarr use slaves, Caldari and Minmatar use naval crew.
Whichever type of ship I fly I don’t need to make a different amount of peanut butter sandwiches to fly it. Therefore that would seem statistically false.
lol!
