We’ve become aware that the Steam sign-in service is currently unavailable for logging in to your account. That is the option to use this service when signing in:
Users who already have their details saved in the launcher should still be able to launch the game from Steam and play.
Updates will be posted here and over on: https://status.eveonline.com/ as the investigation continues.
Update 14:14 UTC: Steam’s OpenID service is currently unavailable, preventing Steam sign-in capabilities. We are awaiting further information from Steam about its status.
Update: 15:14 UTC: It appears that signing in via Steam is once again possible. We’ll continue to monitor this for now.
Update: 15:30 UTC: It appears that signing in via Steam remains functional. This incident is being marked as resolved for now.
