There is also an issue with the Daily Quest related to jumps. The objective states that it should be completed after 3 jumps; however, in my case it remains at 1 jump and stays marked in red. The counter does not increase regardless of how many jumps I perform, and the quest cannot be completed or manually canceled.

Literally the main feature of the patch isn’t working. Again. The same exact thing happened when they patched in the new ships a few weeks ago.

CCP is a more valuable asset than anything else PA has going - Oz has covered this on his show. I play BDO and if you think Eve is janky try that game.
Quality control for CCP could and should be better - and a higher priority (“fix the little things” patches are needed more than new content, they should at least alternate.) But CCP just reflects the industry in general in this respect (unfortunately.)
They aren’t somehow bleeding customers because they’re noticeably more broken than other devs/games.

I mean, going from 0 to 1 is a 100% increase in unscheduled downtimes. I am wondering who thinks that any event, in any game, works 100% on the first day?

If your an EVE player long enough you know this is a Feature and not a Bug. These used to cause 2 day down times back in the day, not its like a few hours at least. Dont worry Alexa is working hard in the background to code for them.

CCP has been engaged in modernization efforts of the codebase for the better part of the last decade. Especially the event system has nothing to do with the old codebase. It’s quite striking that they need a full reboot for that stuff when similar bugs could be fixed on the fly in the past. There were events where things weren’t going as planned, they sent a patch that only required you to restart your client to fix it.
