I have a question.
Tomorrow’s gift is a Permaband cap.
Is Permaband a sponsor of the game? Do they own stock?
I tried to look up Permaband on Wikipedia but did not find anything. I did find something on YouTube. Is the Permaband rock band the Permaband for EVE? And why?

It’s a band of former (I think) developers who where passionate about the game.

Permaband was a talented, funny, creative group of EVE devs, putting together some pretty cool music videos and inspiration for EVE players.
The new band is ‘Crowd Kon7trol’ and they’re pretty good also, have to see what they come up with.
You don’t see as much of it now that the game is heading into it’s 3rd decade, but there were a lot of funny, talented and amusing people and videos getting creative back in the day. (Of course, some of the spoofs and disses were funnier if you were around for the events that inspired them.)
Also some actual cinematic movies and stuff. Pretty amazing really.

still for me ranks as some of the most funniest stuff ive ever seen in eve. you have to admire what they put into it and the tekno viking skit still has me lolling every time i see it

Now their employees don’t even believe in EVE. It’s just a paycheque for the least amount of work they can get away with.

I’m guessing he means the bit in the HTFU song where Guard says “Ladies and gents, it’s Techno-viking!” (or something like that) re: one of the devs in the video (who’s rather better padded than the actual Techno-viking).
I will watch the video then and hope that is what he is referring to.
I found a few videos on YouTube about “TechnoViking” with shirtless men but I am not sure those are relevant to what he mentioned.
