[Returning Vet (2011) Seeking RL-First High Sec Corp – 2x 80M SP, Alpha for Now, CST TZ]
Greetings capsuleers,
I’m a returning EVE veteran, coming back to the stars after more than a decade away. I’m looking for a calm, mature high-sec corp where I can reconnect with the game at my own pace — Real Life First, always.
About Me
- I live in the Central U.S. Time Zone (CST) and typically play in the evenings, with occasional daytime availability.
- Full-time worker, parent, and caregiver to a child with autism — my schedule can be unpredictable.
- I’m looking for a group that understands EVE is part of life, not the other way around.
My EVE Background
- Last active in 2011 — I flew briefly during the BoB-era nullsec wars, as part of a contracted mercenary corp fighting in massive fleet battles where Titans exploded before my eyes.
- With nearly 15 years away, I’m basically a new player again in 2025, re-learning the game and catching up on everything that’s changed.
Accounts & Capabilities
- Two accounts, each with ~80 million SP.
- One is my original main from the old days.
- The second belonged to my late father, who I flew with for many years. CCP kindly helped me recover the account after his recent passing — I now fly both in honor of that bond.
- Currently Alpha status, but I’m open to going Omega again if I find the right corp.
- I bring strong industry and production potential, especially with blueprint work — plenty of infrastructure left from my father’s legacy that I’m still organizing.
What I’m Looking For
- A chill high-sec based corp, with industry, mining, and casual PvE.
- Mature, RL-first members — ideally adults, parents, or working folks who understand variable schedules.
- Discord voice OK, but not required every time I log in. I run my own personally Discord community that is not EVE related.
- Also must be able to tolerate a highly active autistic child that can be audibly excited in the background. I try to mute myself if I feel it’s a bit much. He’s a good kid.
- Open to international corps, as long as there’s some overlap with CST evenings.
- Patience and understanding as I re-learn the game — a lot has changed since I last flew in 2011.
If you’re building a community — not just a corp — and value long-term loyalty over constant activity, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for your time,
