heres the basic concept:
-based on a ships mass and energy supply (max capacitor) the warp disruptor range will be increased or decreased
-the mordus legion and other warp disruptor bonus will get removed becus of its fleet benefits in scale to solo player combat issues
so this would mean that the warp disruptor range for a mauderer for example could be increased becus of its power supply in scale to its mass.
the destination is to balance the warp disruptor ability to hit targets in scale to the actual max weapon range of its counter class.
That means therefore:
-i can warp disrupt cruisers with a golem within 80km range (as an example for railguns wich have around 80km range wich would balance the solo capability of encountering fleets within their combat range
the goal is to creade sceanrios where u can encounter a fleet with a single ship that scales against the fleet (cruiser counter frigates, battleship counter cruisers).
currently this is not possible becus the warp disruptor has to low range in scale to the weapon systems of bcs / railguns etc.
so there might be tiers for each ship size for rescaling the warp disruptor range wich follows the logic of ye bigger ye higher range…
in addition there could be a mass addition to heavy weapons like large railguns wich add range to the disruptor if the enemy ship has equipped it.
again the goal is to balance the combat system and make solo pvp more viable for any class of ship.
to prevent mauderers to disrupt mauderers within the same range there could be a resistance against warp disruptors for same class ships wich negate the effect duo the powercore of the ship to prevent u behing disrupted to much (reducing the range for example by 30% to increase the combat ability of same class fights / negate the move area for smaller ships outside of combat range)
