Rockets instead of guns

Hello is possible to start with initial bonus in missile / rocket launchers instead of guns?

Doesn’t that depend on what you click when you start? your, Race / family

It depends on what ship you use.

Keep in mind; while weapon skills are tied to your character (in terms on whether you can use the weapons in the first place) it is the ship itself that has has the restrictions and bonuses.

If you want more missile/rocket ships then I suggest you look at the Caldari and some of the Minmatar ships.

The Kestrel comes to mind. As does the Breacher.

I would like to fly kestrel and later all these missile boats, but when I made this profile I found hugr skill bonus into the guns skill tree.

I tiok caldari, I saw launcher as main weapon system. So I thought I would have bonus in launchers. That Ibis had guns😕 even iff thischas bonuses in launchers.

You can always start traing up the skills necessary to use missiles.

You can also sell any gun ship you have and but the ship with the necessary equipment.

If I recall correctly, Alphas are not “locked in” to using one weapon system anymore.

ah… the Ibis is a rookie ship. Don’t take it terribly seriously.

Just gain money with it until you get or can afford the ship you want.

Also if your caldari and you do the story line it should boost missile skills.

Nah… don’t throw it away.

Use it until you get the ship you want. Then mothball it.

You never know when you will need a spare (please note that I said “when” and not “if”… in EVE, it is only a matter of time before a person loses a ship).

I got it, is there any agent that gives me skill book for launchers instead of hybrid turret on the beginning?

Make a Cladari character on a seperate account, do the Tutorial missions, especially the military ones, but I would do all just because you are starting out and its very easy income as well as it will get you familiar with different ships and a different faction, all of which is very good for start.

Since Caldari missles (including rockets) is a primary weapon, you will receive skillbooks for it. You don’t have to use them. You can give them to your other character, as well as some basic missle ships, etc.

how to give it to the otehr character ? First go to a station thats a more central location for both to travel to and put the item (in this case skillbooks) in the item hangar. Then right click on it, and select “create contract”. Select item exchange (which I think it already selected as default), make sure you select “Private Item Exchange” default I believe is “public” so double check that. Type in your otehr character name and just keep clicking “next” button. you can double check recipient on the last screen when creating teh contract.

Ok, I also found uniwiki web, where are some fits for pvp, how does work these scram/webs mods work? Are they count together to multiple effects?

Do the “special forces” or “military specialist” (or something like that, I forgot exactly) tutorial missions. If you are looking for specific fits, just read on the other forum section, there is one for PvE fits and one for PvP fits.

There is a ton of stuff when it comes to scrams webs etc. It gets lengthy and complex. Start with your ship warpcore strength vs strength of what is applied to you, and if you want to get away from it, your ship agility, align time plays a great role on top of a lot of other stuff.

Basic skillbooks are sold dirt cheap at the starter “school” system bases, and training times are just minutes - couple hours at low levels.
