EVE market values are just what ever people can convince you its worth.
I you took a yard stick being what a 1 of 1 federate megathron sold for a few years back then you could say this is probably worth 4-5 trillion now with inflation.
however that totally nonsensical as the new Pythons that have an issue number of 60 total are selling for 1.4trillion. Either prices are made up or Pythons are seriously over priced atm.
If the current python price is the yard stick for a 1/60 production run ship then the current price of this and anything else like a fedthron, impoc, stateraven would be up at like 50 trillion.
so either Certain ships are way way over priced even for collectors ships or prices are totally nonsense made up what you can get away with selling for.
Apparently, he had no way of convincing people of its value. Just like my collection.
People will always make up numbers to start.
Pythons are definitely overpriced for what they are, but those who have the supply control the price until demand goes to nothing.
That said, 1.4T for a python is ridiculous, 3.5T for this rorqual is ridiculous and probs to them if they get people to purchase their items
I do not want 3.5T. My realistic pricing range is set around 2.5. The public listing is mostly for visibility and to prove that it is real, I do not expect anyone to randomly just pick that up (I just wanted it to be at the top )
