Is it just me or have salvaged item prices (anything looted from wrecks, ie: modules, tags, etc.) just dropped off a cliff? I just did a complete salvage on “Damsel” and it usually returns ~15-20m ISK in loot. Today it was barely ~6.5m. Unless the estimates are really off…
sort all the items by price and check the market history graphs for the top 10 value items. If they look stable, it’s probably just a bad random drop luck event. If they point down, your intuition was right.
This is what happens when there isn’t enough destruction in the environment.
I have a sneaky suspicion they’re going to mainly be pointing down, but I’ll check it out after a few more salvage runs to get a better sampling (thanks for the suggestion).
The only item that seems up in price are MTUs. I’m sure Aiko doesn’t have any idea why that would be… ![]()
You’re correct in your observation, Arthur. Salvage component prices have fallen through the floor. The only I even bother salvaging anymore is to build rigs for my own use, not for resale.
As for Aiko, I have no idea what she’s saying. She’s a plague carrier and I blocked her and most of her bretheren long ago.
Appreciate the head’s up - thanks.
Annabella sticks her head in the sand and thinks that will protect her from the plague!

I generally just sort by price and sell anything worth over 75k.
All the rest gets broken down for the minerals that I use for manufacturing.
