Not that it matters what you or I have to say. What matters is how long the ISDs let this ride before realizing the longer this thread stays open, the more it gets them on the CEOās radar.

Im sorry, I tried to have an open mind @Uriel_the_Flame but that HTFU song is awful.
No need to apologize to me, that song was made by some of the CCP devs so if anyone, you can apologize to them if you feel it is needed.

You posted that song so I thought you really liked it and usually we apologize to someone if they like a song but we donāt. At least thatās the way we do it here because we understand that personal taste isnāt objective.
They only come in this forum to let us know of information about the game so my apology would be off-topic and it would be silly to send them a mail just to tell them that the song is aweful, wouldnāt it?
It was an illustration of their mentality.
Which is basically the entire originally intended mindset of the gameplay offered by EVE itself. That is why often people cite HTFU when it comes to the mindset of playing the game successfully instead of giving up, complaining instead of adapting and so on.
And that idea came from your mind and I agree, it would be.
As for me, I was just clarifying because you replied to me, hence I recommended to address them with your apology as it was not warranted to accept it myself as it concerns them so felt it is not appropriate for me to accept it even just passively.

No worries, if I was bothered I would just not reply (though sometimes have no time to reply or such, so lack of reply doesnāt necessarily mean you are bothering either).

Most people who can find the humor to laugh at themselves is a true test of character. I know I am not a public speaker myself. They canāt get me up on stage in front of people to talk. This is why I write.

Just for the record: I am not going to report this back and forth because 1) despite off topic I donāt feel it harms the thread (for now) even if it deviates from the main subject (and not that the thread subject will be discussed in too much detail anyway) and 2) because it is an interesting thing about the forums Iāve witnessed over the years being here and have no issue with it being ādiscussedā here (not that I expect it to result in any conclusion but calling attention to the subject is in of itself beneficial, in my opinion). So feel free to talk here about alts and what effect they have on the forums. (Tbh mostly posting this notice for the ISDs in case they check these last few posts.)
