Hi there, the navy scorp is a very nice ship. It doesn’t have the same punch as a rattlesnake but for the times that you don’t want to deal with drones it is IMHO best PvE ship available. I use it, also use it for soloing epic arcs, full clears, completely solo, no alts or anything, just my scorp. Only thing I don’t like about it is that it has a very low scan resolution, even when compared to other battleships. So I tent to stick a Sensor Booster or use a rig on my fits. Otherwise the small drone and frigate lock times drive me insane after a while.

its double prop, targets and shoots at 100km +, with MJD + MWD has a nice movement. Shoots everything from the fast elite frigates on up, even shoots them pretty nicely once they get on you and start orbit. Though I have to switch ammo to precision missles for that, then switch back to furies for everything size cruiser +. The reload time is only 10 secs so no problems switching ammo mid combat. Switch to auto missiles anytime you get dampened or ECMed until some of the stuff thats dampening or ECMing you gets cleared up enough for you to switch to regular ammo, and of course carry different ammo types as needed.
Usually I just warp in, MWD to be within 100km of everything in a room (roughly in middle of all the NPC clusters), agro literally everything, shoot 1-2 missles at each cluster, drop MTU and shoot, when stuff gets close enough to cause me noticable damage MJD away. All the while the MTU does the work.
On last wave I drop salvage drones near the MTU and just let them work, sometimes I get quite a bit of extra income from this, especially after not selling salvage for a month or 2 I get nice fat stacks. Its kinda RNG though because depending on the salvage and amount and I dont stay to fully salvage everything, I just let the drones out while I kill stuff. Check MTU for any meta 4 or anything worth carrying for sale or reprocessing, dump the rest, pick it up, move on to the next.
I think a good navy scorp fit tends to be cheaper then a good rattler fit, and it has an easier time working targets at 100km+, thus letting you do actually more content variety, rattler can’t get full DPS cause its cruise missiles alone don’t surpass the scorp and the drones are a PITA to fit for stuff at 100km+, end up losing too many slots to this.
