The Secondary Targeting Array is a Mid Slot module that would, while active, block ECM entirely at the cost of fixing your targeting stats to reduced values:
- Targeting Range (would be a % value of your normal value)
- Scan Resolution (would be a % value of your normal value)
- Max Targets (would be set to 1, and maybe 2 for T2)
Now, This will not allow you to lock if you are jammed, however if activated prior, will make you immune while it is running (so neuting you down so that you can be jammed will be a tactic, as making you very vulnerable to Dampening modules). It will also block you from using other sensor booster modules.
Example Values:
Secondary Targeting Array I
- PG: 5 MW
- CPU: 25 tf
- Activation Cost: 35 GJ
- Cycle Time: 15 Seconds
- Targeting Range: 50%
- Scan Resolution: 65%
- Max Targets: 1
- Makes Immune to ECM While Active
Scoped Secondary Targeting Array
- PG: 5 MW
- CPU: 23 tf
- Activation Cost: 25 GJ
- Cycle Time: 15 Seconds
- Targeting Range: 75%
- Scan Resolution: 65%
- Max Targets: 1
- Makes Immune to ECM While Active
Expedited Secondary Targeting Array
- PG: 5 MW
- CPU: 23 tf
- Activation Cost: 25 GJ
- Cycle Time: 15 Seconds
- Targeting Range: 50%
- Scan Resolution: 75%
- Max Targets: 1
- Makes Immune to ECM While Active
Secondary Targeting Array II
- PG: 7 MW
- CPU: 30 tf
- Activation Cost: 30 GJ
- Cycle Time: 15 Seconds
- Targeting Range: 80%
- Scan Resolution: 75%
- Max Targets: 1-2 (Not sure if bringing to 2 would make it too powerful with logi ships).
- Makes Immune to ECM While Active
My question to you is would this be too powerful? Or is it not powerful enough. The main idea is to make an option that will give you the ability to target if you are prepared. Thoughts and constructed critiques encouraged. Thanks
