Capital ewar ships with fighters. Make them ESSENTIAL for capital escalation fleets.

Jamming that cannot target back [this would still be target specific per module] burst range increase to existing jamming burst modules. Affects hostiles marked with [select enemy type see below]

tracking disrupt burst within 1000km or something appropriate to capital fleet engagements to entities not marked “alliance, fleet, corporation, fw”

Sensor damp capital edition such as area of effect burst modules and further scripts for short or long range dampening. Want to target the enemy snipers? Youll be able to affect them with carrier increased targeting ranges. Your script will allow you to target a range 1-5 or 2-10 individual ships to reduce their ranges and make them find a new perch, reducing incoming damage.

Target painting enemy fleet or sections. Give it a cone effect.

This and increase tankability and command burst bonuses by 1% up to 3% max. (Leaving command ships #1 for boosts)

Ewar siege module benefits:
Increase to racial ECCM and increase to capital cap transfer amount and range to bridge cap between capitals. Need to bring your angel neuting dread? We have the cap for you.

Increase mid and low slot by 1 with additional power grid an cpu for added tank. We already know you aren’t squeezing much out of a 4th or 5th drone damage amplifier.

I am a 2009 account and long time fan of this game. My soecualties are ewar and command burst ships. I love this aspect of the game.

PLEASE phase this into t1 carriers as a niche role, with T2 carriers being ewar specialists on capital level with t2 resists.

Mid slot fitting new module, select your ewar bonus. Racial ships get better racial bonus to their type of ewar, but now all caps could be fit for tracking disrupt aoe, or sensor damp aoe so ally arty dreads could blap a few dreads off the field. In a quick strike.

Area target painting turning your dread ball into 20-30% more dps without needing zirn spool.

Some brilliant minds have asked for ehp and fighter dps increases to existing carriers. About 4k dps would be great!

This would be a better answer to that! And i will gladly throw my 2 existing omega accounts and the promised third (plus plex purchases) into funding your profit margins.

I like the idea of bringing Carriers into a capital EWAR kind of role.

In fact I’d like to see Carriers have any kind of essential role in capital fights. But it feels like CCP is pushing various roles already:

  • long range fighter combat
  • long range fighter EWAR
  • Microjump generators (recent addition)
  • Conduit jumping subcapital fleets (recent addition)

Adding EWAR as well to their modules in addition to EWAR fighters while it already has all those other roles feels a bit like a clusterf*ck.

Why not push EWAR through one of the existing roles and put a heavier emphasis on EWAR fighters, allow a second EWAR fighter wing and buff the EWAR fighters so that Carriers can fill a much stronger EWAR role while flying fighters? After all, maneuvering fighters is kind of the main point of flying a Carrier.

Other buffs like “4k dps” or “more power grid and CPU” feel a bit out of place. I mean, more fitting space isn’t going to make Carriers useful and 4k damage feels a bit much for damage with supcapital tracking at massive range, damage that exceeds Marauders or even HAW dreads. Also I would say T2 carriers shouldn’t be a thing until T1 carriers finally find a place in the meta again.

Other than that, I love the idea of more EWAR emphasis of Carriers.

Thank you for the genuine feedback. I really do think carriers could be split in the basic t1 into 2 classes. Long range fighter supoort as you suggested. (Which eliminates their on grid boost options) and on grid, fleet boost, active ewar participation.

Fighter assist should absolutely be optional reinstated for a “drone bunny” against capital ships.

On grid fighters should be on grid options while active modules and boosts directly act as force multipliers in my opinion. I do agree these could be split into “combat light carrier” and “support carrier” still well below the impact of supers.

I truly believe this would jumpstart the new capital meta and interest.
