I mean even IF you did that its not really, those booster packs that include skill points that they offer are one purchase only. So its not like you could buy skill points indefinitely until you have all the skills you want
Nowhere in your post did you explicitly say or imply that you didn’t have a problem with it. Looked like a whining post to me, yeah. Maybe don’t be such a whiner with your other posts on the forums then, if you don’t want people to get the wrong impression. Once a whiner, always a whiner, disposable forum alt #2271.
This is disingenuous.
Once upon a time people could only put 24 hours of skills in a skill queue.
Nowadays there’s no limit to how many skills we can put in that skill queue, so you could put in 4 years.
Nothing got slower though. You can still put in a skill queue of 50 minutes instead of 4 years if you so wanted.
Much ‘faster’, right? Fact is that this skill queue is likely going to be filled for as long as you’re playing and the total time of skills in that skill queue have zero impact on how fast you train.
Complaining that ‘4 years of skills’ is slow after you yourself arbitrarily decided to put in 4 years of skills instead of 2 weeks, or 6 years, just to make a point seems dishonest to me.
No my post didnt explicitly stated or imply that. But the fact that I quoted the post I replied too provides context that would imply I must be pointing out the inaccuracy of that person’s statement
First there IS a limit to how many skills we can pur in a queue. 150 is the limit. Second, As I told the other guy I wasnt complaining that 4 years was slow I was disproving another posters “Omega players are just fast tracking instead of being patient” argument… 4 years is not “fast” in any reality. Now on to your “put it less skills as you dont HAVE to have 4 years of skills in a queue” if all the skills left that you WANT to level are already level 3 or 4 and getting to 4 or 5 takes 20+ days to train per skills per level. Good luck avoiding a 4 year skill queue.
“Just put in 3-4 of those skills at a time” ok. Even if i did that, thd total time is still gonna end up being 4 years before all those skills are leveled, only difference os im just doing it in 3-4 month chunks so im not seeing all 1000+ days in queue at the same time
Quit whining so much. It’s embarrassing.
Dunno how proving someone wrong = whining. But whatever helps you sleep at night. Also if thats all you can contribute to the discussion instead of an actual rebuttal or counter-arguement. That tells me everything I need to know. Its clear you’re done here, have a nice day.
princess ivory has stated several times, they believe the game is meant to be played as alpha “to which they are” and they have no desire to “fast track” and be omega and have advantages that you normally wouldn’t have..
though they been told countless times since they been on the forums, before alpha/omega, the only option you had was subscription = Omega..
Why are you replying to me? I know all that.
Considering I have been active for years as an alpha and my 6 characters average between 6 to 9 million SP, I would say 4 years is faster than 20. The only “alpha” I know for sure who got to SP level 20 in a year was Jer. He technically cheated by using omega referrals, and not running it pure alpha. Very disappointed in Jer.
I am not knocking Jer for fast tracking with omega, his choice, but his video was tainted. That would be like me saying, I never had omega. I was gifted omega by Fenris, year or two ago for a week, and I used it to train for the one week. I haven’t seen free omega since then, but I assume it was offered when I wasn’t around.
I bought PLEX with ISK once to just gift it away. I can honestly say, my 6 characters have remained alpha with the exception of the 3 princesses who were gifted omega for 1 week.
Meanwhile all of these online games from simple Bingo Blitz to Black Desert all have their fast tracking schemes to get you spending cash, including this game.
Have fun!
Actually, you can. In addition to packs, you can buy PLEX for cash, sell PLEX for ISK, and buy skill injectors with ISK. LSIs have diminishing returns, but people can and do spend the ludicrous PLEX to inject and max every skill. If you look on QSNA, you’ll find very young characters with practically every skill maxed.
define “practically every skill” i wouldnt call someone with 60 or even 120mil SP having “practically every skill maxed” thats only like 20% of them even if their account isnt even 30 days old. Also skill injector buying at diminishing returns would be stupid… it costs practically 1 billion isk for 1 skill injector if youre at the point where youre getting 150k SP per-injector and you need 5 million SP for example that thats like 40 injectors… youd be stupid to buy that
Okay. So you didn’t bother looking.
One year, 621M SP
Three years, 531M SP
Seven years, 624M SP
Three of the top 10 highest SP, and that’s just among the ~12k characters added to QSNA.
Lots of stupid people in money in the world.
The cost in isk to buy those injectors if you look at the plex and isl exchanged rate.. it would be cheaper to spend $350 on one pf those Warp Boosts and the other boost right about it and get an instant 5 million, rather than buy enough plex to get enough isk to buy enough skill injectors at 150k SP a pop lol
The boosts are a one-time purchase until the store is refreshed (about once per year). You can keep buying LSIs as long as you have ISK to spend and there is supply on the market. That’s why some people do it. They don’t want 5 million SP. They want hundreds of millions SP, and they’re willing to spend the cash to get it now.
No one in this thread is arguing that the practice is a good idea, but you seem to be arguing that it doesn’t happen at all, when it very clearly does. Swiping your way into a capital pilot has long been a thing. Some people just take it even further.
Oh I know its a thing EVERY MMO/game with p2w mechanics have them, theyre called whales, I was only pointing out there are smarter ways to spend your money and get the same results, albeit it at a slower pace but still leagues faster than someone whos not spending any at all
