Hello there, just a quick suggestion to improve chat readability:
When clicking on a player’s chat text, have it highlight ALL previous messages that player had posted in chat.
This would make it much easier to read a player’s conversation chain, especially in a busy chat room.

in a fast moving help/rookie chat … this would be awesome!
There is some devil in the detail issues… but over all this would be fantastic!
