Singularity black screen after logging in and attempting to start client

I have been able to access Singularity for years. After an update several days ago, when I attempt to log an account into Singularity everything to proceed properly (progressing through “downloading bulk data” … but then I get a black screen and no “choose character” screen appears.

Nothing happens (even after waiting 15 minutes) . This happens no matter which account I choose (even a new one that I haven’t used on Singularity before).

I am concerned that this problem may occur on Tranquility when the May 28th release appears there.

How can I get this problem corrected?

I’m having the same issue.

Edit: OK so i just tried logging in again and had a black screen. Then i pressed Alt+f4 the hit esc and my character showed up.
